Prompt visit, willing to try new treatments, good bedside manner and never rushed.

Dr Odgers had been great, up to this point. But I had a workers comp case, that Gallagher Bassett asked me to come back and finalize, and he treated me like I was abusing some system. My adjustor had been let go, and paperwork was missing from my file, and according to GB, I did not have a final appointment, after an extension of my PT. I was treated like an inconvenience, and that I had done something wrong. He had been sent me for a rotator. When asked if he would see me for my knee, unrelated, he refused to look at the knee. He said he said he would rather not, since it had prior surgery by another doctor years ago. Overall, terrible appt and I waited an hour to see him, only to be talked down to and told he didn’t know what to write on my doctor’s note. I almost cried the way he made me feel.

Dr Odgers did my right shoulder and now I can play tennis again. He is so good that I came back to him in Pa. From S.C. to evaluate my left shoulder. People that complain about time waiting clearly don’t understand that sometimes you have to wait and be patient to be able to see one of the best. He clearly pays attention and strives for as much perfection that he can offer. I have heard so many stories of people having to go back for repeat procedures. I would rather wait and not have to return . It’s not like he is going out to play golf between patients.

Dr. Odgers had operated on my L arm rotator cuff about 13 years ago, and he remembered much about how well that turned out. Today he was quick to diagnose the problem with my R shoulder and immediately suggested a course of action to address possible treatment with PT and some imaging services to determine how to know more about what is happening to my shoulder. He is a quick study to determine a course of action.
