Dr. Craig L Bierer, DO

The entire staff is amazing! I heard about Dr Bierer's outstanding reputation as a surgeon and as a good man from friends long before I ever required his care. Even before I left the ER, the on duty Doctor had already contacted Dr Bierer and had me scheduled for an appointment with him, and it was a weekend when I visited the ER. It means a lot when the ER Doctor can reach out to a surgeon immediately and have me already set up even before I leave the ER. Says everything about trust and the relationship they've forged in their field. The care I have received and the sense of urgency I have been shown by Dr Bierer's practice is the only real concern I have felt during this entire ordeal that led to my injuries. This is my go to from here on out.

Recently had surgery performed by Dr. Bierer. I am very pleased by the experience. His bed side manor, thoroughness about the process, pre and post surgery was outstanding.

I had both knees replaced by Dr. Bierer and when I needed him I was refused. I had a review before this, now I have more facts that people should know. He is using sub standard replacements and had I known HE was going to remove my PCL. I would have gone for a 2nd opinion. I have sent people to Dr. Bierer too but never again. He has NOT continued his education and that is a must . The replacement, I and others have are coming apart bcz He decided to remove the Ligament in the back of my knee that keeps a knee from coming out of joint. I would post pictures but You don't want to see or feel the agony this has been for me(twice in 5 months). I had been from 1 surgeon to the next. They don't use that knee replacement bcz the PCL is removed. I also knew he had trouble in his past but I believe in 2nd chances. Now that I know it was more than 2 infractions I wouldn't let him operate on anyone for a knee. He made a choice for me affecting my life forever. I trusted him. I will never go… anywhere or even pull a boot off without that replacement possibly coming apart. If that happens to You, call an ambulance for You are out of commission. ER to knocked out for them to put You back together. I am now in need of a surgery that is revising what He has done. Get a 2nd opinion. Some of those 4 surgeons I saw were surprised that Craig Bierer was still Practicing. I was shocked to learn of his past. I found it online. No one told me anything. They were just surprised he was still a Dr. No, we all aren't perfect but PLEASE get a 2nd opinion for a knee replacement. Medical Board seems as if they want me too file a complaint on him. I don't want to hurt him but I can't go through what I have and say nothing. Please go to a surgeon that continues to expand their education. MAM

I have had several ortho issues and been to several ortho doctors. He is simply the BEST in every manner!!

If you want a doctor that will take the time to help, explain or show genuine compassion, he is the one! I would highly recommend Dr. Bierer to everyone!! He helped me with my back injury and then he performed my knee surgery. Everything that a doctor should be....HE IS! Thankful for him!

My husband had a hip replacement in 2018 ....we were made to feel so welcomed by him. So satisfied with the surgery...he listens to what you need to express, he’s funny and cares. I also went to him over a wrist situation 2019 ...and whatever your situation it’s all important to him and for him to help you. So, thankful to have him for our Orthopedic doctor....highly recommend Dr. Bierer

Dr. Bierer has a great bedside manner. Takes time with you. Doesnt make you feel he wants you in and then out. Really seems to care!

Best surgeon I have ever had

While my daughter waste college she fell and required surgery. Dr. Bierer was caring, compassionate, very explanatory. We would highly recommend him to anyone!
