Dr. Daryl Glenn Dykes, MD

I just really like everything about this Doctor. He has a great personality, is skilled at evaluating the patient and how to interact with them, has a keen understanding of the patient's needs and the options appropriate for those needs. He spends time showing the x-rays, explaining them and the implications of the abnormalities. He sets a good foundation for the patient to make an informed decision on the appropriate plan of care.

DR. DYKES PERFORMED A KNEE REPLACEMENT ON ME IN 2005. I EXPERIENCED EXCELLENT TREATMENT BY HIM HIS STAFF AND ALL INVOLVED IN MY TREATMENT. I ALSO RECEIVED SUPERIOR TREATMENT AT SHELBY BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER WHERE I HAD SURGERY. I, QUIET LITERALLY, COULD HAVE WALTZED OUT THE DOOR. I NEVER USED THE WALKER THEY GAVE ME AND USED A CANE ONLY MINIMALLY.

Did a bad surgery that required someone else two surgeries to correct. Did not have the experience/knowledge/competence to deal with the situation. Should have referred to a specialist (by his own admission.)

DR.Dykes repaired my badly broken leg/dislcated ankle . My leg was broken in several places. today it is as good as new. I had to learn how to use my ankle/walk.

He operated on my shoulder. His diagnosis and followup were outstanding
