The wait time to make an appointment is ridicules. in addition, the staff hang up when answering. it took me 3 days to get ahold of someone.

My insurance company sent me to Dr Garcia for an eye test as part of my yearly health plan...I was diagnosed as needing cataract surgery which I completed...On my next visit he suggested an after cataract laser treatment which I also completed...Will I use Dr Garcia again..NO NO NO...an appointment was made for each visit...I was there on time only to wait about 2 or more hours for each visit...I was there about 9 times and the waiting time was over 22 hours or more...Patients are seen on a first come first served basis...there are about 15 chairs in the front waiting room & 8 in the back waiting room..Both are usually full...The office opens at 9..The doctor arrives at 10;30 & the day begins..The doctor spends about 5 minutes with each patient...Its not just at the office that there is a long wait... For the cataract surgeries there was a 2 hour wait and for the laser treatment it was about the same...I know the Dr is a busy man & his time is valuable...So so is mine...I was there at… the appointed times..On my last visit I waited over 2 hours in the back waiting room...I came very early and was the 1st patient to bw seen..I heard the doctor come in the back door...And then instead of seeing all the waiting patients he was on the phone for 20 minutes..I had to leave beforeI saw him..I had a funeral to attend...I got there at 8: 50 & left at 11: 10.. Great Dr if you dont mind waiting
