Dr. Francis Paul Degenova, DO

We heard great things about Dr. Gegenova and drove from Newark to meet with him as my wife had suffered from back pain for years. She did all the rehab and had the MRI which showed surgery was needed. Dr. Gevenova did than just read the xrays and MRI he talked to my wife about her pain and were it hurt. From talking to her he said he could do a less invasive outpatient surgery to relieve her pain. He gave his time freely and him and his staff were all great! I will be seeing him myself soon and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. My wife is extremely happy with her outcome.

Pig. Went there with walking problems either circulation.or neuropathy had for decade now. HE HAS ME WK.6 FT IN FRONT OF HIM- TELLS ME EVERYTHING'S LOOKS NORMAL,( IT WAS LONGER DISTANCES AND I TRIED HARD TO WALK NORMAL) HE CHARGES OHIO_$4000.00- HELPS ME 0

Ohiohealth got rid of this so called surgeon. Sad thing is that ohiohealth is the worst group of doctors in the midwest. They let this jocker do whatever he wants and then they won't help you at all. Don't let this guy touch you. Go to the wexner at OSU or Cleveland clinic.

Great doctor & staff. Angela his PA is great & his office manager Adrianne. He is straight forward and to the point. He will listen but will not waste your time or his time if he can't treat you. He will refer you to someone else if necessary. I had surgery and it was the only surgery I ever had and he tried to make me feel better but I was just nervous. He went over the whole surgery and what I should expect. Awesome doctor and staff. â?º

Dr. Degenova was great with my son after his accident, he was diagnosed with T4 T5 T6 broken vertebrae's Dr. Degenova was great at explaining the diagnoses and informing us of the severity of the diagnosis. I would trust Dr. Gengenova with any of my family members and/or friends. I can't thank Dr. Degenova enough for his kindness and concern for my son.

Dr Degenova is by far the best doctor. His compassion and bedside manner are second to none. He is very knowledgable, honest,and caring. He is not quick to jump right to surgery as an option. He is my hero. Would recommend him to anyone with back/neck issues.

Dr. Degenova and his wonderful team, saved my life in Surgery! I will never forget them. I had a severe reaction to a medication that I've had before. They have been there for me from day one! Dr. Degenova, Angela, and Adrianne. They listen, they answer, and they are understanding. They want to help me through this pain. My neck is getting better! Now they are going to work on my back! I am so anxious to get this leg pain gone. What I also love about them, is that if a person is not feeling better from what they had done and are still experiencing symptoms, they do not tell you that you are lying and they get if it didn't take away everything. They don't just tell you that you are better and fixed. They ASK you how you are and then decide if the surgery worked. If I would have told them I am still experiencing issues (which I am not in that area), then they would have said the surgery didn't work. They would not say they healed me. They will work to help you feel better. It is a 50/50… chance with these surgeries. They give you a paper of what to expect and what you could experience after surgery. I am just glad that my neck surgery worked! I just wish they did brain/skull stuff too! I could use them for my other medical issues. Unfortunately, that (neurosurgery) is not their area. I am so thankful for them and thankful that they are willing to try and make me feel better. Even if it is 15 to 20 percent better...I will be happy with that! Any amount helps. They are the nicest medical professionals I have ever met in my life. Saving my life too, was a big one for me. It is a long story, but I will say I will always trust them with my life. They mean the world to me!! I still have a long way to go, but they have been my start. They are very good at what they do! They don't play around. They are very serious when it comes to helping their patients. They care about their patients. That is another huge plus.

I just had my 2nd opinion with him and he was very thorough and knew what needed to be done at the very first appt. Just when others would not even talk to me or even said they would not touch an area where another surgeon has done work on...he said he would! He gave me hope that others did not. He gave me hope that I have a chance to have some relief. Even if it is minor relief it is better than what I am feeling now. Now maybe after he is able to help me with my cervical spine and my lumbar spine, I will be able to sit more than an hour without excruciating pain! I know there is never a guarantee that one will feel better and I know there is risks & the possibility of more surgeries, but I trust this Dr. Degenova and I feel that my health is in the right hands. I also know I have issues health wise that he cannot help me with and I have to continue to see my other physicians for (and specialists), but he is the only Ortho Neuro I want to go to in the future. I have found doctors I… liked and trusted but either they moved out of state or quit their practice and so forth. I am glad I found this doctor and I am glad that he is willing to help me. Now I feel I can go to him with anything and I bet he will point me in the right direction if it is something he cannot help me with. I am excited to see what the next several years brings and I hope that I have some relief. :) No matter what though, I will never give him a bad review, as I know he would have done his best and he would have tried to help me.

Dr D is the best Dr I've gone to for my spine issues. I have had 4 spinal surgeries, 3 of which he did. The first Dr did nothing for me but Dr D was able to help me tremendously!!! He is not a "pill pusher" but will allow YOU to make the decision concerning your treatment, he's NOT in this just for the money, he honestly cares. I would recommend him to ANYONE, I moved 2 hours away from his offices but I will definitely make the drive as I will NEVER let any other Dr touch my spine. I TOTALLY TRUST him to the extent that I am sending my Daughter to him when she returns from the Army!!! Thank You Dr D for taking such good care of me, I couldn't ask for a better Dr!!!!

Very rude as well as long wait time both times i saw him. Told me there was nothing wrong with me so i got 2 more opinions and both doctors said i need a fusion asap. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. I could have saved a lot of time, money, and pain if i never went to him.
