Dr. James Emit Clark, MD

I would not recommend Dr Clark. I am sad to say that he needs to retire. He is caustic, and lost very important paperwork. Insisted my husband do a painful test again which he refused. We went somewhere else and were treated with respect. We are now awaiting results. Choose another doc. This doc is tired. He was once excellent.

In 2016 I had the misfortune of doing business with Dr Clark. I found him to be extremely and unnecessarily rude. He seemed to have the little man syndrome going. The scary thing was that he had a female assistant that wanted to grow up and be just like him.

I don't ever write reviews but i felt it necessary to leave this one so that no one else will have to put up with the unprofessional behavior of Dr James Clark at Alpine Urologists. After having a penectomy done for skin cancer i went for a follow up visit. After rudely examining me he got up in my face and verbally assaulted me for mistakes made by his staff about an appointment. Dr Clark has a serious anger problem and should not be practicing medicine. He has trouble controlling his temper and flys off the handle for no apparent reason. This is no way to treat another person especially a patient who has just had surgery. He walked me out to the front desk and referred me to another urologist.

I have never in my life been treated so horribly by a doctor. He verbally and emotionally abused me. He completely neglected my care and his surgery was a total hack job. Instead of being a humble doctor and admitting he couldn't handle my case and passing me off to someone who COULD, he decided to proceed and physically mutilated my body and did not perform the surgery correctly. After the surgery, he completely neglected my care and wouldn't examine me nor do any tests to PROVE he caused horrible complications and didn't do the surgery correctly. Instead, he literally kicked me out of his office just a few short weeks after my surgery and abandoned me leaving me in horrible pain and telling me "there is nothing wrong with me." I then received a call the next day from an office assistant telling me my future necessary follow up was canceled leaving me abandoned and without the proper care I needed. I then went on to find another specialist, actually in this particular field, that… confirmed the surgery was done so poorly that my kidney was now at risk because of severe reflux and my ureter structuring. I then had to have ANOTHER 6 hour long reconstructive surgery to try and "fix" the horrible hack job this man did. His bedside manner is nonexistent, he has not a caring or compassionate bone in his body and will leave you suffering in horrible pain because he "does not believe you." and ONLY a surgeon and "does not treat pain" he says. I have severe PTSD from his treatment towards me, and because of his neglect and misconduct, I am now left permanently damaged and disabled suffering in horrible pain 24/7. His MA Jamie is not any better. Her treatment is just as horrible. Please do yourself or your family member a favor and stay far far away from this man. He has ruined my life.

Terrible communication, abrupt and unkind bedside manner, not recommended, especially nurse Jamie.

Dr. Clark didn't even bother to come into the exam room to meet me during my first visit and asked virtually no questions during my second visit and has not followed up even though the condition I visited for persists

Great Doctor but the front office staff and office manger are very rude and seem to be to interested in talking rather then checking in the patient. My husband has prostate cancer and had the biopsy done with Dr. Clark. However we decided to follow up with someone else. The wait time is about an hour.

My one month old son had a problem with bleeding related to his circumcision. Dr. Clark was able to stop the bleeding without surgery. The important thing is that he took the time to deal with us on an emergency basis and even met us late at night after hours in his office. Dr. Clark is a smart caring physician who calmed two very scared parents and saved our son from anesthesia at a very young age.

I have read the bad reviews and feel they must not be talking about my Dr. Clark! He is a kind, caring man, and I have no complaint at all.

He is Horrible, he refused to remove a stint that I had complications with, put in my kidney he rather keep me doped and suffering for 5 days in the hospital. When I called the other surgeon they sent me to him and right away he was rude. He told me that he was so mad and it was totally inappropriate to call him and if I ever called him again then he would fire me as a patient I fired him as a doctor. He wouldnt treat me and the hospital refused to call anyone else. He made me wait suffering; not willing to take action till his partner came to remove it 4 days later. When he did I walked out within an hour. He is not worthy to be a doctor. Dont go to him he is not worthy of being called a doctor. Worst ever.
