I seldom give poor review's and “never” a 1-star. Dr Ung may be a good surgeon, but there’s no personality, compassion, or even administrative skills - as when I met with her on a Monday she didn’t know she was operating on me that Thursday. Why the appointment ? Just part of the “assembly line.” It may be a simple 15 minute procedure for her - but these are my eyes and there’s a certain level of discomfort with cataract surgery that could be calmed by a doctor who, at the very least, knows she’s operating on you in a few days. Finally, I found out you can’t fly for about a month after surgery…. that was never explained. And I was scheduled to fly to my son‘s wedding two weeks after surgery. My former wife is a doctor. My brother is a doctor. We have two physician assistants in the family. I love doctors. I hate doing this. But I would not at all recommend Dr. Ung.'

Ridiculously long waits without acknowledgement or apology. She was rude, made no eye contact, no explanation of findings, no education, counseling. Without a doubt the worst encounter ever with a healthcare provider. I wasted 90 minutes in this office.

She was rude and acted bothered by the fact that I had my eye exam today. I waited nearly an hour before I was taken, then tests with 2 different assistants then placed in a waiting area and asked to keep my eyes closed as I waited for the Dr.,... again, waited close to another 1/2 hour, then finally, I go in for my exam with Ung. She was unfriendly, unapologetic, and pretty much the worst bedside manner I have had with a Dr. Looks into my eyes with a bright light instructing to look left, right, down, up etc., flicks off the light, pushes and turns away and and then tells me some bad news about the blood vessels in my eyes, that made me feel nervous. I did not understand and she did nothing to help explain what she was talking about and kept her back to me the entire time! She was evasive about what she meant or what I should do next, and clearly could give a crap that I was feeling concerned and frightened by what she had said about my eyes..... Do not go to this Dr! She should not… even get paid for my exam! Horrible experience!

No one told me I needed to bring my old contacts box to get new contacts. Before even trying anything she just dismissed me and was very clearly annoyed. I thankfully had a picture of my old prescription info she could use, she was googling things about contact in front of me, and then just guessed the right prescription for me. She barely looked at my eyes. She was not very nice or understanding and clearly just wanted me out of her office.
