I met with Dr. Mercer at his Anaconda, MT office, to receive a second opinion from an established urologist about my enlarged prostate and associated issues. I was not disappointed. Dr. Mercer is an excellent physician, who goes the additional mile to explain things in detail; he even drew several illustrations to assist with my understanding. He is the consummate professional, very straightforward and expert with this subject matter. Dr. Mercer has the rare ability to listen to his client's concerns and then to respond in depth. He was very patient, and fully addressed the circumstances surrounding my particular health challenges. He provided me with a clear diagnosis, a very thorough and, ultimately, reassuring physical exam, and an easy-to-comprehend treatment and care regimen — all elements which were completely lacking following two meetings with a seemingly detached and disinterested P.A. associated with a Missoula urology clinic. It requires more time, energy, and expense… for me to travel the additional miles to Anaconda, but the professional manner in which I was treated by this exceptionally competent physician insures I will be happy to repeat the trip whenever it becomes necessary. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mercer for anyone struggling with prostate issues.
