I cannot recommend Brandon Bariatric Surgery Center enough. Dr Chavda and his staff are absolutely incredible. Terrified is an understatement for how I felt starting this journey and Dr Chavda immediately calmed my fears. He has incredible bedside manner. He never ever rushed my appointments. He explained everything in a way I could understand and he answered every single one of my 14 million questions. My husband ultimately had the same procedure with Dr Chavda and his experience was every bit as good. I can’t thank Dr Chavda or his staff enough for taking care of us and helping us change our lives for the better. We are forever grateful.

OK, very first impression, no practice that claims to care about their patients, especially those with a history of weight problems, places their scale directly next to the check out desk. Why not just put a flashing sign in the lobby? Patient XXX weighs XXX! So insensitive. Doctor was rude, condescending and a very poor listener. In fact, I couldn't get a word in edgewise. Staff seems very burned out and are stuffed like sardines into a tiny office which is quite frankly rather shabby. Steer clear of these guys. They're just in it for the bucks and you can do better.

Excellent Surgeon, very compassionate and caring. Preforms Robotic and Laparoscopic surgeries. Surgeon of Excellence with the SRC and actively participates with the MBSAQIP.

I had sleeve surgery done with him and I had lost the weight then I broke my ankle, got pneumonia and went through a divorce and depression and ended up gaining everything back. Went to him to talk about revision surgery this morning after trying to diet and exercise 1st and seeing no results (which by the way took all I could must to drag myself back in there tail between my legs defeated) and he literally chewed me up and down about regaining all my weight back and made me feel like the worst person on earth for coming back to him and told me to see a dietician and come back in 3 months. I cannot believe how he acted. I left in tears and will never go back to see him ever again. I have never witnessed such behavior from someone who is supposed to care about people.

My experience with Dr. Chavda was great. He is very pleasant and I would recommend him for sure. He performed laparoscopic surgery to remove my gall bladder. All went very smooth
