I was a patient of Dr.Tenholders 2015-2017 he was very courteous and seemed concerned of my knee and leg pains he replaced both my knees at sacred heart hosp. Although it was very painful I would definitely recommend Dr. Tenholder . Todd wyndham

A year out from a TKR and I still cannot go up stairs correctly, cannot feel most of my knee, it still swollen, and I still have the most horrific quad cramps at night. Asking for any med was like pulling teeth. Don't go here.

Over a 7 month period he performed 3 surgeries on my knee. A TKR, Drain insertion because of a bleeder and revision surgery. My knee became infected with the drain. Knee pain, swelling and site heat was constant throughout. He refused to diagnose an infection even after the revision surgery where I later found I had a STAT white cell count of 30,000. I finally asked to be referred to another surgeon. Dr. Morrison completed 2 revision surgeries to clear the infection and accomplish a final TKR. He also corrected leg length and knee alignment issues Tenholder ignored. It reached a point where Tenholder was either asking me what I wanted him to do! Or behaved like I was lying to get meds, which I was taking as few of as possible.

Dr. Tenholder did a total knee replacement for me 2 months ago. After 2-1/2 weeks, I got rid of the walker and after 4 weeks, I got rid of the cane. I have been in pain for 20 years and I now have absolutely no pain in that knee. I feel like this knee has been with me forever. I have no problems doing anything I want to do now. Dr. Tenholder is an excellent surgeon, is very willing to talk about concerns and answer questions. His staff is wonderful and very helpful. I would highly recommend him. In fact, I am going to have him replace my other knee soon.

Dr Tenholder has the best outcomes of any orthopedic doctor in this area. His patient have lower post surgical pain, are up and ambulating sooner, and are retuned to a fuller quality of life. This is due to his compassion, patients, and his outstanding surgical and medical skills. I recommend him above everyone else. My knowledge is based on my personal experience as his patient and watching the results of his skills in other patients of his. You say this to good to be true, it is not. We are very fortunate to have Dr Tenholder practicing in this area.

DR. TENHOLDER IS THE BEST.I HAVE BEEN IN PAIN FOR YEARS WITH BOTH MY KNEES. I HAVE HAD BOTH MY KNEES REPLACED IN THE LAST FOUR MONTHS WITH VERY LITTLE PAIN.I WOULD RECCOMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS THIS SURGERY.THOUGH I AM STILL USING A CANE BECAUSE MY LAST SURGERY WAS ONLY FOUR WEEKS AGO, I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WALKING AGAIN.

He treated my daughter. He was wonderful with her. He made her laugh. He treated her with respect. He did the best job her could treating her. He nurse is really nice and has a great bed side manner as well.
