Dr. Mark James Triffon, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Triffin for 10 years for various issues. I have found him to be consistently patient and willing to explain in detailed laymen’s terms what was wrong with me and what I needed to do in order to get better. He was direct and honest which I found refreshing. He is also just a nice guy. I appreciate him!

Great appointment! My first with him but others with orthopedic one have been very good also. I showed up early and since I provided info on line they took me right back for X-rays. He came in quickly with copies of the X-rays and resolved quickly. Discussed options and set up PT quickly. Very efficient and very good!

Dr. Triffon is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain your X-rays and your treatment options.He is also a very nice guy. His office and office staff are very nice and very efficient. There is very little wait time in the waiting room, in the xray room, or in the exam room. I highly recommend Dr. Triffon for your sports medicine, orthopedic needs.

Dr. Triffon took time to review my knee X-rays and offer good advice on how to protect my knee, how to strengthen the muscles around my knee and clearly defined guidance for the future good health of my injured knee.

He is a great doctor! Down to earth and explains everything and answers my questions.

I had a great experience at Ortho One from the time I walked in to the office. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Triffon was very professional and friendly. He took extra time to answer all my questions and I feel that I received great care. I would highly recommend this professional office to others.

In reading these consistently bad reviews, I had a similar experience right down to having a totally wrong expensive brace prescribed. I went for a second opinion after wasting a lot of time and money. The wrong brace was the very first thing the other doctor noticed. Also any walking aids needed at the time were not even sized correctly to my height. Their physical therapy department is totally off the page in price and personal attention isn't there either. "Wave your leg 30 times"while they start running other clients on your dime during YOUR hour. A recipe for potentially more injury. I could never recommend the place itself concerning any area. Makes one want to consult a lawyer, but that's practically no win as these guys are so protected they wouldn't even feel it even if you won. However, you can report them directly to the state medical board anonymously and if enough reviews are collected that are consistent even over a long period of time, they will investigate it.

It took me three times to get diagnosed properly and I walked on a stress fracture for weeks adding needless time to recovery time. His demeanor was less than kind and somewhat melodramatic..I read a review on him stating "he sat across the room and talked and didn't even look at my leg. I could have diagnosed myself by reading the internet". I could have written that review myself word for word. I think the man only cares to be on the staff of a hockey team than care for patients. Never again.

Unpleasant, unprofessional age biased physician. Sloppy appearance. Overall unhelpful and dismissive. Seems to be hung up on patient's age as excuse for not offering viable medical options for complaint.

Dr. Triffon is without a doubt a very engaged and professional Orthopedic Dr. I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He is warm and personable and open and honest about one's recovery...I loved him.
