Dr. Naga Chigurupati, MD

My name is, Zachary L. Hines, Sr. - 66 years old, from Peninsula Hampton Roads VA Truly Life-Changing Care I’ve been a patient of Dr. Naga Chigurupati for the past 3 years, and I can honestly say she has changed my life. When I first came to her, my breathing was in terrible condition—I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, asthma, and COPD. Dr. Chigurupati took the time to carefully prescribe the right medications and worked with me until we found the right balance. Thanks to her compassionate and dedicated care, my quality of life has drastically improved. Even during times when I didn’t have insurance, she made sure I had access to my medications. That kind of love and commitment is rare. Her staff is equally amazing—always friendly, understanding, and on top of scheduling to make sure I stay on track with my appointments. If you’re struggling with any respiratory issues, I highly encourage you to pay Dr. Chigurupati a visit. She’s a real doctor—with real heart

Absolutely no bedside manner. Rude and judgemental and eager to insult or patients

She does not have the appropriate equipment needed to evaluate patient.

Had first ( and Only) appointment yesterday with Dr Chigurupati. Office is very unprofessional. Office looked clean but very much like a second hand offfice of sorts The doctor had all records and etc from my medical doctor, I had CT chest scan and my results were faxed to her. After looking at any of my records you would know for sure why I was there. First question was " why are u here" Ive had COPD for a while and have seen other doctors (mind left the area) and so had to change.. But it will not be her. I have had two other doctors tell me it might benefit me to do oxygen at night. She told me you can not do that . That if you are on oxygen its 24/7 . I have found this not to be true per my medical doctor. I just got a bad feeling from the moment I went into office. No one seems to know what they were doing .

I won't go back .

Strange appt. Left in room a long long time. Then at end of appt left in room and didn't know to leave except when someone was yelling my name from desk in hallway. I wasn't only one confused on awkwardness of ap. pt.....so was my spouse. Office staff doesn't seem to know what each others roles are.

Very Knowledgable doctor....very caring!

I go to a specialist because I want answers to my questions regarding my health. All I get is generalities and a brush off and told to schedule again for next year. How can she possibly know my situation after spending 5 minutes with me once a year and not bothering to answer questions? I was told she was supposed to be a good doctor but she has the worst bedside manner I have ever experience in a doctor.
