Dr. Paul Nam-Shin Baek, MD

This man misdiagnosed the cervical level in my neck to the point I had to have a second surgery 6 months after to the correct level but had muscle atrophy by then. Then after this , I found out that he has had a few lawsuits for misdiagnosis and performing surgery on wrong levels, and/or wrong sides of body. this happened back in 2009. Would never recommend this unresponsible doctor to any one.

Dr. Beak made me feel very rushed. I filled out the sheet about where you were having pain, he didn’t even look at it. I told him along with my spine fracture I also had a lot of pain in my right hip, he totally dismissed that. His nurse was a total B and very rude. I would NEVER see him or his nurse OR recommended them to anyone.

Four days ago Dr. Baek performed a cervical discectomy and fusion. I already feel 10 times better than I did before the surgery. He explained my condition to me in terms that I could understand and so far the follow up I have received (as to how I'm doing) has been fantastic. I would definitely recommend Dr. Baek.

He was great BEFORE my surgery, performed my surgery, but I was WORSE after the surgery (disectomy and fusion). I went in saying my NECK hurt(which never even hurt before the fusion, just my arm and fingers were totally numb)....he told me pain.management was my only option, there was nothing wrong structurally with my neck, even suggested maybe I wasn't in as much pain as I said I was.....to make a long story short, after a year and a half of excruciating pain.....I got a secong opinion, that neurologist knew IMMEDIATELY it was a failed fusion from the inferior PEEK disc he placed in my neck. In the meantime, I had another disc rupture.....I ended up with a two phase surgery, rods in my neck and a 6 day stay in intermediate ICU...... After he told me I was fine. Beware, I'm not the only ONE.

I would not let any other doctor do this kind of surgery on me but Dr. Baek. I have had three back surgeries and he has done them all, and done an excellent job each time. I trust him - and that is the most important thing you can have with your doctor. He cares about his patients and I trust him to do the job right.

M wife has had multiple brain tumors and is doing well with the help of this surgeon. He removed 3 out of the six tumors she had ans set us up with gamma knife surgery for others. His nurse Denise and he have the best doctor-patient relatinship that I have ever seen. We will always thank him for the excellent work he has done for us. Best in Green Bay!!!

Dr. Baek was able to repair my L5 back problem quickly in an outpatient procedure. I am very satisfied with the outcome.
