Dr. Paul Lawrence Winslow III, MD

Great Dr. Took time to explain everything. Great personality and passion for what he does. The receptionist was very nice also and helpful. I felt like going to the Dr. when I was a kid and everything was nice and done well.

My mother started with Dr. Winslow many years ago when he worked at FL Eye Clinic. He treated her for Wet Macular Degeneration. She was very happy with Dr. Winslow. At some point, he left the area and my mom saw a different eye doctor. That other person made her feel like she was a cog on an assembly line and gave her a shot in the eye every month, whether she needed one or not. One day, my mom happened to pass by Eau Gallie and spotted Dr. Winslow's new office. She was absolutly thrilled and changed over to see him immediatly. She saw Dr. Winslow for several years until her recent passing. Dr. Winslow treated her very well, took pictures each time and explained whether or not she would need a shot. At times, she didn't need a shot in almost 6 months! Dr. Winslow and his staff are wonderful, caring people and they do a fantastic job. I highly recommend Dr. Winslow and I am very happy my mom had such a wonderful, caring, eye Dr.

I was referred to Dr. Winslow on an emergent basis for a possible retina detatchment. I am a senior citizen and suffer from extreme anxiety, so needless to say, I was extremely scared. Dr. Winslow showed tremendous compassion and understanding. He performed a laser procedure, all the while offering reassurance and comfort. He is a gentleman and a brilliant Doctor ! I would recommend him to anyone in need of his specialty. I consider myself Blessed to be in his care.

Dr. Winslow was extremely informative and caring and his staff was caring and attentive. A refreshing place to take care of all my eye issues as I have diabetic eye problems.

He is just a fine Doctor that have his patients best interest at heart. He listen, understand and is 100 percent accurate on his diagnosis.

First visit diagnosis was detached retina. His solution was scleral buckle operation. He said 93.5% success rate. Had the operation. First visit afterward my sight was perfect. Next visit site had deteriorated badly (one week later). He refused to consider my comment. Next visit, one week later, I was blind. His only comment was that I needed another operation - that 9 people out of 10 needed a second operation. I refused and he said "you will simply go blind" which I have. I did not trust him to do another operation. I complained to the head of the practice and he told me I was not being diplomatic because I questioned the 93.50% success operation and why did he tell me that 9 people out of 10 had to go back for another operation.

I saw Dr. Winslow once to remove floaters in my eyes. Treatment was immediate and successful. Great bedside manner, caring. He left his previous group and I am here to find out where he re-located. He's a talented doctor whoI will happily follow.

I needed to be seen on an emergency basis and could not have been more impressed with the doctor and the entire staff on both initial visit and follow-up.
