Dr. Philip Michael Rafiy, MD

Dr Rafiy walks on water. I suffered extensive pains for over a year to my shoulder, knee, back & neck. So far his performed surgeries on my shoulder & knee have positively healed me. It's never good to talk about pains in a light manner, but I'm looking forward to the other surgeries to fix the other pain areas. The best part is that Dr Rafiy has the most calming & reassuring nature, that his consultation appointments make you know he genuinely cares about you. His entire staff is also very nice, polite & knowledgeable. I highly recommend him

I suffered 40 years of severe sciatica since a serious injury in 1986 (double herniation), and over a year of recent neuropathy before coming to doctor Rafiy. He operated on four of my vertebrae - a complicated procedure. My God, to be able to feel my left ankle again without pain… to be able to twist and turn in bed again without shooting strikes of pain down my leg in the middle of the night… and to be able to look towards the FUTURE without having to worry about spinal stenosis. Maybe the word “miracle” is too exaggerated for some; not for me. I checked out ALL the surgeons at NYU and HSS (Hospital For Special Surgery) in Manhattan. Some of them were great, but in my opinion, they still don’t equal Dr Rafiy’s capabilities. It’s your choice, but I don’t think you could do better. PS - and don’t forget, he and Dr Brisman (NYC neurologist) work together. I certainly didn’t want to pass up a combination like that.

Dr. Rafiy goes above and beyond with through care. He's been amazing with my ongoing back, neck and hands pain. He's very attentive and helpful with any questions I have. I highly recommend! - Pat Jackson

doctor RAFIY is a amazing doctor it only been one month since my surgery and I couldn't be happier with the results so far I would recommend anyone that is suffering back and neck pain to see him and his staff they helped me through this battle.

I had Suffered with major back pain for years, herniated and degenerative discs which I had 2 prior surgeries already by another doctor. It had got to the point where no anti-inflammatory, physical therapy, Injections, or pain pills helped. I saw Dr Rafiy and he suggested surgery. I had a laminectomy and discectomy and a complete overhaul of my lumbar spine At Mercy Hospital with Dr Rafiy. This was life changing for me. The surgery has made my life so much better. Dr Rafiy and his staff in Hicksville are Great! Everyone is friendly and helpful. The bottom line is that my decision to use Dr Rafiy was the best thing I have ever done when choosing a doctor. For anyone who is suffering like I did go see him, you will not regret it.

Dr Rafiy is a terrific surgeon. The pain I had in my neck was unbearable and he fixed me 100%. I can’t thank him enough and I would recommend him to family and friends.

I recently had a Lumbar Radiculopathy procedure in September 2023 with Dr. Philip Rafiy and I am so happy with the results! the entire experience was great. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had no problems with appointments, scheduling or insurance. Dr. Rafiy was professional and explained everything in layman's terms so I could understand the procedure and what to expect. after the surgery, Dr. Rafiy personally visited me on Saturday to assure me everything went as planned. my recovery was better than expected and I am very glad I followed through with having the surgery. my scar is very small and my pain level is dramatically reduced. I can't say I am pain free but it is nothing compared to what I was living with prior to the surgery. Thank you Dr. Rafiy and your staff. I cannot explain how well my surgery went. I had a fractured spine and Dr. Rafiy took excellent care of me. The procedure was quick and super painless. I felt better as soon as I woke up. Dr. Rafiy is kind and patient. He makes you feel like there is nothing to be afraid of. I totally recommend him to any one that has back/spine issues. He was also highly recommended by Dr. Jonathan Brisman. Two wonderful doctors to have in your network.
