Dr. Scott Gordon Bowerman, MD

Worst dr I've ever encountered! Did zero diagnostics, said I'm not injured and that I wasn't in pain and that popping, grinding, catching, and extreme numbness and tingling in my shoulders is normal and that he experienced it daily and that I should just suck up the pain. He definitely should not be operating on people if he's being truthful, but I believe he's lying, which is extremely uncouth and unprofessional. After waiting two hours, he walks in for two minutes and says I'm not injured and dismisses me, no x-rays, no mri, nothing. I've undergone multiple rotator cuff surgeries and know exactly what a torn rotator cuff feels like and the symptoms and have been experiencing every one of them, but according to him after looking at me for less than two minutes I'm fine. Again, no actual diagnostics were done to determine if I have another tear. I shall definitely be making a complaint with the medical board and seeking litigation for malpractice. His bedside manner was atrocious and… arrogant. His medical license should definitely be revoked!

I have had experience with Dr. Bowerman several times over the past 12 years.He is a very caring, compassionate person and takes time to listen and talk with his patients. He is experienced, knowledgeable and can be trusted to do his job well. He seems very comfortable and confident in his occupation.

I went to see Dr. Scott Bowerman this week ,and I found it to be a very pleasant visit. I found Dr. Bowerman to be a very knowledgeable and caring Doctor. I was almost paranoid about going to him because of some reviews about him, and also because I had already been to two other Doctors, that I felt like they just "took" my money without so much as looking at my hip. Dr. Bowerman took the time to listen then ask questions and then examine me, he explained my problem fully to my satisfaction, then ask if I had any more questions. He was a very compassionate and caring Doctor, his nurse practitioner and staff were also up to par. I found the whole experience to be of the highest of standards. I most definitely would refer others to DR. Scott Bowerman.

Would not recommend him to anyone. He has a horrible bedside manner & no compassion. Will make you feel stupid if you ask a question. Always says "I have been doing this for 20 years" in other words I know it all. He will NOT BUILD you up or encourage you in anyway. His way of doing practice is to put you down and make you feel like you have not done what you needed or need to be at 100 when in reality for your body, age, and pace you will get there but not come out of surgery at 100. It takes time and it certainly takes time to build back up after a total knee surgery. Run as fast as you can from this doctor!

Can't get a response from physician visit was told one thing by office staff and then told a completely different thing by another. If you see a patient, submit the results from the visit. It appears that the physician could care less or is oblivious to the actions of his staff. Either way, it's not acceptable

Dr. Bowerman really has the best interest of the patient at heart. He took the time to explain my diagnosis and treatment to where I could understand. I would recommend Dr. Bowerman.

My mom has been a smoker for 50 plus years, she has a vascular necrosis we have been scheduled for surgery two times now put through numerous test after test and also nicotine test if though my mom admitted to his assistant josh that this latest test would have some nicotine in it I ask would that delay surgery he said no as long as the levels were low enough . Well low and behold today the day before surgery his office calls and cancels . This dr is one I believes that likes to suck Medicare and Medicaid dry and doesn't really care the patients over all health

I knew my replacement would be done well and felt very confident. Dr. Bowerman went to great lengths to deal with insurance co for me. A very caring physician.

He told me the exact same thing in 2002. I had filed for my disability and was having some problems with pain in my hip. He told my husband and I that I needed a hip replacement over several visits. I was hesitant to have the surgery. When I had my disability hearing he lied and said I would not need one. This did not affect my outcome but the fact was that he lied. Please do not use this doctor.
