Dr. Scott French Bateman, MD

I have never had anything but a good experience with Dr. Bateman. I really appreciate that I can have all the necessary tests and ex-rays right in the office facility. He takes a common sense approach to ailments and spares me extra expense whenever he can. He is probably the best doctor I have had in today's world of "move 'em in, move 'em out"....Dr. Bateman makes me feel like a person, not a dollar sign.

nice man we got off on the wrong foot when I was young. he was right I was wrong to a certain degree but he is a dedicated man to his profession.

Dr. Bateman is a very professional and capable yet easy going physician. Every one of his Malibu office staff has been great over the years.

I went in to ask for a mri for history of back pain. After an incredible wait he was angry and asked if I wanted surgery right now and I said I just wanted to know what was going on first. He told me he would not ask for an MRI. He told me to take more advil and nature would fuse my bones in time. He was very hostile and short. I went to a spine guy and after mri, ct can, it showed my back was a horrible mess. I feel he did not care a bit about my health or well being and I will never go back to see him for any reason.

Doctor Bateman has been my falmily's doctor for 18 years. He is thorough, helpful and always there if you really need him. Always helpful information on all subjects. Has made my family (parents,husband& kids) very comforted by his level of dedication. He and his staff are the best! Not only our doctor, but a real family friend.

Dr Bateman cares about us, not just as patients, but people, too. He has helped every member of my family these past 20+ years. Dr. Bateman exemplifies what every family doctor should aspire to be: knowledgeable, caring, professional, kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Not only is a good doctor, he's a good person.

Dr. Bateman listens and shows concern. He is adept at diagnosis and treatment which makes me believe he paid attention while in medical school. I am very comfortable with his treatment plans and if I feel a real concern about a medical issue I can usually get an immediate appointment. He cares about his patients, does not overcharge and does not recommend anything you don't need. I would highly recommend him to anyone based on my experiences.

Misdiagnosed my mother's illness. Rude and had very poor bedside manner!
