Dr. Sheldon Marc Buzney, MD

Patient care is second to patient volume!!! I was scheduled for a 1:15 appointment and when I arrived at 1:10, I was told that 6 people were ahead of me so go wait in your car for 1 1/2 - 2 hours until they call me. This is horribly unethical and possibly criminal. I will report this to all medical associations and boards in Massachusetts for an answer. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Dr. Buzney is a very experienced ophthalmologist. He is very personable and caring, who will not rush through the office visit. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Buzney.

Br. Buzney is a a superb physician in his specialty. For me the Best of Boston. He employs an excellent staff. His office manager Nancy is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable, highly experienced and extremely competent. She is very caring for all of Dr. Buzney's patients and that makes the experience of seeing a physician a lot easier. You get the feeling that as a patient your eye problem is well cared for on all fronts.

Just suck it up! Patients and their needs come before some "unreasonable" (4+ hours) of waiting time in the reception area, as frustrating as it may be. When you need additional time with him, he will be there for you.

I've been seeing Dr. Buzney for over 4 years. He was referred to me by my regular opthalmologist who has an office in Mass Eye and Ear. Dr. Buzney patiently answered all my questions and explained everything. The waiting room in Wellesley is small and cramped, a small price to pay to see a great doctor.

Dr. BUZNEY has high credentials and lots of experiences which would make him a good surgeon, but he has not been updated with procedures in patient care in many aspects such as kindness, caring mind, willing to explains things, which are reflective in his staff. Dr. BUZNEY maybe a great surgeon, but he is not a good doctor who fail to see the whole picture in caring patients.

he is known to be the best retina doctor/surgeon in new england. my eyes are greatful to him
