Dr. Stephen Julius Migliori, MD

I met with Dr Migliori regarding a need for surgery. Within 30 seconds I knew I was in good hands. His kindness as well as his entire teams warmth made the whole process as perfect as one could hope a surgery would be. As a native Rhode Islander, I’d have gone to Boston to be treated by him. (If you are also a native Rhode Islander you know how huge that is)

This my second time having Dr Migliori operate on me....both times for hernia repair (left, then right inguinal). He had a calming effect on me at our pre-op meeting. Told me what he would be doing and even made some sketches for me. It is 8 years since my first repair and now 4 days for this second one. Doing fine and as was outlined to me. Only negative....he said to put ice on the wound. Thought he would give me some ice cream like my mother did after serious doctor visits!!

He explained everything to me, even drawing a picture explaining how my gallballder and other organs work. The sugery went well and I feel great now. His assistant Denise is also very nice and has been very helpful. Honestly the best doctor I've had in New England. I wish he was my PCP.
