Dr. Timothy Sunglin Wong, MD

I called for an appointment to have a biopsy of a nodule on my thyroid. When I was in the exam room, Dr. Wong said that he doesn't do biopsies. I was shocked to be sitting in the office when I clearly said that I was making the appointment for a biopsy when, in fact, the doctor doesn't do them. The office should have never set the appointment if he doesn't do biopsies. Instead, I was now in the office and would have to pay for an office visit. Additionally, during my visit, Dr Wong took a personal call on his cell phone. Imagine if I were to take personal calls in the exam room. Furthermore, I got billed hundreds of dollars for the office visit. I called the billing department to dispute the bill and was told they would discuss it with the office manager and call me back. They never called back. Next I get a collection agency notification. I called the billing department again. They reviewed their notes and said the office manager never got back to them. Bilking patients comes to mind.

My wife had been misdiagnosed by another doctor and Dr. Wong was recommended to us. He immediately diagnosed her and cured her problem which has not returned. I recommend him highly
