I brought an elderly client for a first visit with Dr Sullivan We waited for 1 hour and 15 min, he came in saying he had to pee and was probably not getting lunch, no apology Was rushed, impatient and unapologetic. My client expressed disappointment in having to wait and he told him he should go back and see his previous doctor(who retired) if he was not satisfied After a brief explanation of exam he said “we are done here” and he walked out Very unpleasant experience

I'm a nurse practitioner. I experienced some sudden vision changes and he had me come right in on a Saturday morning. He diagnosed a retinal tear and recommended immediate laser surgery. When dentists and surgeons are performing a procedure on me, I hate it when the only thing they say is "Hmmmm", so I asked him to please think out loud, which he did. Dr. Sullivan told me everything he was doing and seeing, and even things he wanted to see but couldn't. Some surgeons can tend to be a little aloof, but this guy doesn't have an arrogant bone in his body. A very skilled eye surgeon, an awesome communicator, with the demeanor of a friendly pizza deliver guy. I highly recommend Dr. Sullivan with no reservations. I'm so glad he was on-call this weekend.

I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes and found Dr. Sullivan to be skilled, intelligent and thorough. He explained the proceedure clearly and answered all my questions without judgement. On the afternoons of the proceedures, he called me at home to check on my recovery. My follow up visits were punctual and I never felt rushed. I was very pleased with Dr. Sullivan's care and would highly recommend his services.

He basically made me feel like I was wasting his time, I was urged to see him by my regular eye doctor to follow up on a previous issue. He even asked if I wanted to cancel the appointment.

Dr. Sullivan has been treating me for a few years now, I have a very complex case and he has handled it with professionalism and kindness and care above and beyond what most physicians would do. He's very knowledgeable and compassionate, I highly recommend him.
