Dr. Dreana Jenne Janssen, DO

Dr. Janssen spoke unprofessionally about colleagues and her employers, more interested in talking about her own personal life than my concerns. Seems uncomfortable with technology. Did not order lab work for wellness check.

New to Dr. Janssen. Asked about getting labs that Cigna recommends every year, she questioned why I wanted them and said I should wait until yearly check 8 months away. Two months later she calls to ask why I didn't have them done. Makes comments on records that patient has been made aware of the results of tests when in fact the patient hasn't seen her since testing was done

I was very sick. I called into work and immediately call the new location my PCP had recently moved to and found out she was not there. I made an appointment with whomever was available. By the time I got to the appointment I had forgotten the name, when I got to reception the lady that i spoke to (Pauline, Paulina???) was rude and annoyed that I could not remember the name of the Doctor among other things she was less than pleasant about. 25 minutes after my scheduled time they finally took me back. The assistant was polite and I informed her why I had come in and then I waiting another 15 or so minutes and then MRS. JANSSEN entered the exam room. Firstly she seemed to have not checked with her assistant or her notes as to why I was there because she seemed to have no idea. I do not remember how but the topic turned to my PCP who was out that day. Mrs. Jansen began to express to me her frustration that this PCP had patients from the last location that were following to this.… She explained they had hired my PCP to help them with their patient number and my PCP seemed to have moved the whole practice here. You could see in her face and hear in her voice how dissatisfied she was and how annoyed Mrs Janssen was with these things. This made me feel unwelcome and like I was some sort of annoyance or burden she should not be forced to deal with. It a has recently made me wonder about the level of care she gave and attention she paid to me since while feeling so much better I am still experiencing a few of those systems I had on the day of my visit. Some people may believe that Mrs Janssen is a doctor and that is their business as for me I believe a true doctor is so much more than a diploma and therefore do not nor will not think of or address this woman as doctor. Now I have to go make an appointment with my PCP. Maybe Mrs. Janssen should note the reason all these people followed was because this persons level of care is amazing. I feel listened to and cared about and I leave already feeling better and I have never had to make a reappointment because I was not properly cared for regarding a simple illness like I have to this time as a result of Mrs Janssen's poor bed side manner.

Strange.
