I wish I could leave less than a 1 star review. He was used in a custody case for psychological evaluations. He quite frankly did both my daughter & myself a disservice and was less than thorough. He sided with my ex who decided it was appropriate to produce & occasionly star in adult content filmed/shot in his home with web cam models. He thought it was also appropriate to let these people be exposed to our 5 year old daughter at the time. Same man though it was appropriate to put a picture of our daughter on a blog that showed his vehicle and location of his home along with naked women. This man also denies his bipolar disorder and has been hospitalized 2 times in the last 14 months... & I’m the one with the issue! Schau declined to look at any of the pictures & took my ex’s word for things. This resulted in thousands of extra dollars being spent on a forensic psychologist consult & a sexual deviancy expert that had to testify at trial. The other expert was able to rip… Schaus report to shreds.

this provider was used for psychological evaluations during a extended custody dispute. The allegations made by our child included sexual abuse disclosed to school. Schau met with me once and the second time basically reviewed the information he wrote down. He jumped to conclusions & his evaluation of my ex bordered on negligence & failure to follow up determining if there should be a sexually deviancy exam. Schau declined to look at content that was relevant & being produced in my ex’s home. He didn’t even read all the court pleadings & furthermore tried to blame my child’s autism for behaviors that showed up around the time the child reported abuse. Schau should have never accepted our case due to limitations on his license & because he has no training in sexually deviant behaviors. (Check it out if you don’t believe me). I have also heard rumblings about alcohol abuse. He bought my ex’s act hook line & sinker! That I was the problem. When issues came up in his… second session with my ex Schau never bothered to explore or discuss those things with me (There were gross misrepresentations made about factual events). To protect my child I ended up hiring an additional sexual deviancy expert at a huge cost because schau didn’t do his job! In short unprofessional & incomplete. Use with Caution.
