Dr. Edwin C. Weiss, MD

A great doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Weiss for many years and have complete confidence in him. The waiting times are long and can be frustrating but once he sees you he gives you his full attention and gives you a thorough examination. I am very grateful I found Dr. Weiss and wish him the best. It is not easy being in the current health care system as he is and he does an amazing job.

If you're main criteria in judging a doctor is how fast you can be done, Dr Weiss is not for you. If you want an "old school' Doctor who provides a thorough examination and really cares for his patients, Dr. Weiss is a great choice.

Dr. Weiss is a truly great doctor who cares about his patients and always gives a thorough and a thoughtful physical. Unfortunately, he routinely takes 45 minutes or more to appear in your room after check-in. This is just not workable for me, and in spite of my respect for him, I need to find a new MD.

Every time I visit Dr Weiss it takes upwards of two hours of waiting time before he comes in, and then he seems to rush through the visit without making a proper diagnosis. I always hear several other patients walk into the hallway saying that they’ve been waiting for several hours and still haven’t seen him. Not recommended

The wait time is not important as Dr. Weiss spends alot of time with each patient. It is a very busy office, but no one gets lost in the shuffle. The office is equipped to do labs, x-rays and stress test.

Dr. Weiss is a caring and experienced doctor, he does a very complete physical.

Dr. Weiss guided me through a very tricky diagnosis involving a rae congenital heart defect and an outdated surgery, with little research existing to inform his judgement. Presented with this obstacle he spearheaded the assembly of a team of both adult and pediatric cardiologists to find the optimal solution that would both alleviate the immediate issue and prevent (hopefully) any future complications. It seems right to mention that his initial diagnosis and proposed solution were later confirmed by the team, but with refreshing humility, he did not move ahead until he had this confirmation. I was most taken with his absolute honesty

Every time I had to wait for a very long time for a doctor. The office staff is unfriendly and makes it very difficult to follow up with the doctor on the treatment.
