Dr. Elena A King, MD

Dr. Elena King has long retired. She was no joke but knew her medicine and although many have said she was rude , her office was packed . She has been retired a long time , and they should remove her profile as she was up in age and this is fraudulent information to post her working.

Dr king is a very rude DR. She is not very patient and does not like to answer questions. And if you child do something she does not like she will not give a lollipop. How come a dr do this to a little kid begging for it? Very disripectfull.

Dr. King is a disrepectful doctor, she talks to parents with attictude often. I got tire from her after 3 years of taking her rudness just because she is good pedetrician and reliable. I wouldn't recommend her.

Although I could tell she is a great doctor(needles, quick and almost painless), I am not a fan of the "no asking questions...let the professionals handle it" approach. I want to know the reasons and answers to concerns. And it can be tough for her to be patient with me as I want to know how best to remedy the problems. I also wanted to feel reassured and also have her spend more time especially if I have been waiting for a while (sometimes more than an hour). I would not choose this doctor again.

She knows her stuff as far as treating her patients and keeping your child up to date as far as shots and vaccines are concerned, but she does not like to be asked any questions and will respond very aggressively. I have visited her office quite a few Times and have gotten to the point where only My wife speaks to her because she has made enta about me when I walk into the office. She is very rude and I would not recommend.

Dr. King was seeing my son since he was born for the next six months. Everything was relatively good, except for the prolonged waiting time: you cant make an appointment in this office; all the patents are walk-ins. Few weeks ago, on Saturday, I brought my son to the office for the follow up visit. There were plenty of people, and after waiting for about two hours we were finally seen. Everything was fine at first, until doctor told me that she is not taking babys weight. Ive asked her Why not? and this simple question caused very wordy and emotional reaction in her. She called me aggressive, not polite, complained that she is tired, and so on. All of this commotion was happening while my baby was hysterically crying after the shot she just gave him. I kind of swallowed her speech, and asked her some questions I had about the baby. The response was What you want me to do about it?. Finally her husband, who works with her, got into the conversation and attempted to answer my questions,… although he is not a doctor but does clerical duties. It was awful experience. But what gets me the most is the Dr. King has a 30 years of experience in pediatrics, and I cant comprehend how someone in this profession with such great experience can be so inpatient and unprofessional.
