Dr. Eliot D Foley, MD

Dr. Foley is very pleasant, spends time answering questions, and explaining the details of your eye problem in depth so you clearly understand. He is incredibly precise, thorough and very patient. He is the 2nd retina specialist I've seen and I'm extremely impressed by his knowledge, dedication and ability to help you feel less anxious about whatever your situation may be, as well as clearly outlining a treatment plan. I know of several patients with very serious eye problems whom he has treated, and he has been able to restore their vision. I am very thankful for Dr. Foley and his high level of skill. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Foley, especially if you have a retina problem.

I went to see Dr. Foley for something that I din't know that I had for four years and I told him that. He was rude and arrogant towards me. He may be a good doctor but he needs better compassion and empathy for his patients.

Both my husband and I have consulted with Dr Foley on two different eye issues. In each case, he solved our problems quickly and easily. It was clear that he has knowledge not just from his current position, but from other places he has worked. That is what resolved my question, having seen 3 other doctors who did not have his prior experience. So happy I found him!

I used to live in the midwest. Apparently, I got infected with something in the soil there which developed into a problem with my eye. The first question he asked me after looking at me was "did you ever live in the midwest?" -- how did he know that from looking in my eyes? - Anyway, he treated me and I got better.

I developed a sight threatening problem in my only well sighted eye. Many years prior I lost some sight in my other eye from a retinal detachment. Dr. Foley treated me in the office that day. He was the last person left in the office when we were done. We walked out together from the darkened office. Very dedicated.

I should have decked this man. I dare not call him a doctor. Arrogant doesn't come close to describing this self-centered little man. He may be a good doctor but he is too cocky and right all the time. Get a second and third opinion. Don't trust what Foley tells you.

He is a serious doctor and helped me with a serious problem. I couldn't be happier to have my sight.
