Dr. Heema Kaul, MD

I've been seen by many retina specialists and have been to many different retina offices. My experience at Dr. Kaul's office was by far the best experience. At other offices after having waited 2 hours just to see the doctor, I'm used to spending 2 minutes staring at my previous retina specialist's back of his head as he's looking at his computer screen and NOT talking to me. Then he says I need or don't need an injection that visit. My visit with Dr. Kaul is a different experience. She explained the testing and the reason for the treatment and always makes me feel like it's my decision how to proceed. When I ask for her opinion she always make it clear to me but never pressures me.

Took my mom to her but wld never go to her again. She was smirking about my mom’s physical limitations w/getting into awkwardly high chair & impatience communicating w/us. What a ugly personality!

Busy clinic waiting room, but Dr Kaul spent the time with me that I appreciated. Explained to me in simple terms that I understood. Didn't like that I needed injections but turned out less painful than I feared. And best of all... i can see better.

Awesome. I finally understand why I need eye injections. All the other retina doctors just assumed I wanted it done. Dr. Kaul is the only doctor out of four other retina specialists I've seen that explained why she recommended the injections.

Personable. Caring. Knowledgeable.
