Dr. Elizabeth Canfield Hawk, MD

I searched online for a doctor with good reviews who was accepting new Medicare patients (very few around!) and finally found one - Dr Hawk. She is a true professional. She thoroughly went over my entire medical history, took the time to listen to me before giving answers, and spent more than enough time with me. I was very happy with her recommendations for follow-up tests. I highly recommend her. Her staff were very professional and friendly. My wait time was less than 10 minutes.

Dr. Hawk is very nice. She attends to my needs as a patient.

Dr. Hawk came highly recommended. Her nurse practicioner called me with my diagnosis and when I asked what does that mean, you can imagine how I felt when she said well, that is all the information I have, perhaps you can google it?! I am a young women, 30, and you diagnose me with a disease found in typically men over 50 and cant tell me what it means for me, what can i do to resolve it and feel good telling me to look it up on the internet. Save your money/insurance and go to someone else.

I think Dr. Hawk is extremely professional and very easy to talk with. She spends a great deal of time with you and really listens to your concerns and is very responsive. Because I have moved a lot in the past, I've had several Doctors over the years. I find Dr. Hawk to be one of the best.

As a male going to see a female PCP, I was a bit apprehensive. But Dr. Hawk is nothing if not a true professional. She speaks to the patient with the greatest amount of respect and I have not trouble in recommending her or her practice to anyone in the Atlanta area.

Dr. Hawk is my primary care physician and I was shocked to see such low ratings for her. She is a great doctor, she focuses on research based medicine. I have never had to wait long for an appointment (when scheduling one) or wait long in the office to see her. She's been my physician since 2008.

Extreme problems with prescriptions and generally poor treatment of patients is what you can expect from dr. HAWK.Her staff is rude and seems to revel in treating patients like scum.I have changed doctors and now get the meds I need on time and get treated like a human being. My advise is save yourself a lot of anguish and pick a more humane and caring doctor.
