Dr. Eric F Pinczower, MD

I would NEVER recommend this ENT doctor to anyone. He did surgery on me which wasn’t done properly to correct the medical issues in my sinuses. My sinus infections returned in less than a month. Fortunately, a pulmonary doctor sent me to a new ENT physician who had more knowledge and a refreshingly better personality. Also, it was NOT the first time this second doctor had to do sinus revision surgery on a Dr. Pinzower patient. It was their THIRD! Dr. Pinzower’s entire staff were very cold and seemed bored with their jobs. Save your time, discomfort, and money and find a competent ENT specialist!

Dr. Pinczower has a good sense of humor and does seem to want to help his patients, yet he spends very little time listening during each appointment and seems to be very overbooked. His answer for everything seems to be to throw a prescription nose spray at his patients and he doesn't seem to have a lot of other ideas or ways to help beyond that. He also took out my tonsils and didn't have a lot of explanation for why that didn't help, after the fact, and I believe he should have taken my adenoids out as well. He is a nice guy, but not a super detailed ENT.

In 2007 he told me I needed a deviate Septum surgery or the tip of my nose with collapse now ! Here it is 2013 and that has not happened. He's a real jerk! Wants to do unnecessary surgery

I knew as soon as I walked into the office that this was not going to be a pleasant experience. The office was cold and sterile, with no magazines in the waiting room. When my cell phone went off, "Nurse Ratchet" went beserk and starting yelling at me. After a 45-minute wait, I finally saw the doctor. When he sprayed the nasty-tasting numbing med in my mouth, I jokingly said that at least they could try to flavor it. He gave me a dirty look and remarked that this wasn't a restaurant. He failed to diagnose my condition, which turned out to be very serious per the next ENT I visited.

Staff is very rude an inconsiderate. The follow up was non-exsistant and the insurance claim handling was the worst I have ever had!!!

Excellent doctor.

I had to endure followup appointments for years at the University of Washington School of Medicine (where Dr. Pinczower used to teach & practice), he always spent the time with me in spite of all the residents he supervised and made sure I did not have to go through unnecessary procedures. He cared about my case and put my needs first.

Dr. Pinczower is fantastic - he saved my life - he is a great doctor
