Dr. Eric William Shreve, MD

Dr. Shreve performed 2 failed vasectomies on me. During the first procedure he cut an artery instead of the vas deference and said it was no big deal that the body will use another one. After the second failed vasectomy he said I was an unlucky one and he would not perform another, nor pay for another Dr. to perform the procedure properly nor give a refund. I received a successful vasectomy from a doctor at another practice.

I was pleasantly surprised by the options I have concerning my condition. I really appreciate Dr. Shreve letting me know there are remedies that to me were unknown prior to this visit.

Dr Shreve is one of the best doctors I have ever had.

Unfortunately my experience with Dr. Shreve was terrible. I was instructed by the ER Physician to see a Urologist following a CT scan as it appeared there was a blockage in my right kidney. I was seen by Dr. Shreve for 5-10 minutes at my initial visit. He ordered a nuclear medicine renogram but failed to prescribe the required medication prior to the procedure. I had to call another medical provider to prescribe it. Following the test I heard nothing for 3 weeks at which time I received a a voicemail from his nurse stating Dr, Shreve reviewed the test & everything looked fine. I had received the results on the day of testing within 3 hours on My Chart! I continued to have horrific pain & the renogram results confirmed a blockage. I’m an advanced nurse practitioner and knew I had to seek care elsewhere The 2nd Urologist reviewed the same test results and performed surgery. I have serious concerns about Dr. Shreve & his patient care!

Dr. Shreve is the first urologist I've seen in years that actually listened to me. He was informed prior to walking (he actually read my chart--something unheard of at other providers) and was very warm.

This clown recklessly hands out Gabapentin for pain, and it almost destroyed my life.

Dr. Shreve and his team are impossible to reach (20-30 minutes on hold). Central Urology phone line doesn't know which location they are at. Left multiple messages to get UTI test results (that they ordered due to illness) with no return call after a week. Went to Primary Care Dr to get results and treatment. Dr. Shreve is very nice in person and seems knowledgeable, but unable to get ongoing support.

Today was my first visit with Doctor shreve. He is a very smart man and I would recommend him to anyone in my family my friends that is having trouble with anything related to urology. I had a whole lot of questions today and he took the time to answer every single one of them he explained everything to me they're thorough and walk me through every in my diagnosis going further everyone in dr. Shreve office made me feel a lot better everything that is going on with me. He will take the time to answer any of your questions and explained anything that you do not understand and after you have aster questions and explained what is happening with you he then will explain every option going further and walk you through any procedures that he will do. Most doctors are very pushy but he will give you the best possible treatment going further and let you make the decision Christ hospital is top notch when it comes to hiring great specialist they saved my life I will always be thankful for… getting a second opinion and going to Christ hospital that being said dr. Eric shreve is a wonderful man thank you

Dr. Eric W. Shreve At Christ Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio was very thorough and took time to answer all of my questions I would recommend dr. Schaefer to anyone that is having a urology problem he's a very smart doctor. He is not like a lot of doctors when it comes to answering questions he does not use big words to try to confuse you he explained everything so you understand exactly what is going on with you he is very good bedside manners and he is not pushy. After leaving his office I felt a lot better about my situation. Doctor shreve we'll take your time to answer all your questions and will give you the best can be the best options to go further to get to the root of the problem the gentleman that spoke about him being money-hungry was very untrue I have seen many doctors in my life good ones and bad ones but doctor shreve is a great I did not leave reviews The Doctors often but I fell after leaving his office today a lot better about myself and a treatment going forward I felt he… walked me through everything step-by-step and explained all the options I had that being said..... IF YOU NEED TO SEE A UROLOGIST DOCTOR SHREVE WILL DO EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO GET YOU THE BEST TREATMENT NEEDED I WOULD LIKE TO THANK DR. SHAFFER FOR TIME TODAY AND CHRIST HOSPITAL FOR EVERYTHING THEY DO FOR THEIR PATIENTS.... THANK YOU

I spoke to DR on the phone as a Dr. on call when I was in pain and needed to clarify further steps. He was very rude, practically tried to get off the phone without asking any specific questions. His exact words were: What do you what me to do? I am at home and this is Sunday afternoon. I can't do anything for you. We are done here. Call the office on Monday." This is coming form the person who took an oath to help people. So if you are not paying money directly in his pocket, you are nothing and you are not worthy of talking on the phone and give medical advice.
