My bad in assuming my visit was covered by insurance. Since it wasn't I figured how expensive could a 15 min consultation be? Pretty expensive. Hundreds of dollars. Now I know how the doctor can afford all the memorabilia adorning the office. If you can, check your insurance coverage before making an appointment.

This is a truly special doctor and surgeon. I believe him to be amongst the very BEST I have ever been to. Very Highly Recommended.

A doctor is only as good as his office. My first visit with Katske was a good one, but that is where the good experiences stopped. All subsequent visits were not very pleasurable. During my final visit, he asked me a question that I provided an answer for and gave additional information about how I was feeling. He followed up by asking me a question about what I had just told him. Clearly, he wasn't paying any attention during the visit. The staff wasn't much better, requiring a month a three phone calls to their nurses and two phone calls to billing to get test results! The worst part was that they said it was really up to me to call in to get the test results. Plus, I did call multiple times. It wasn't up to me to get the test results. They are just a poorly run office! If I treated my customers that way, I'd be out of business! I'll be visiting a different doctor next time.

Hubris and arrogance has changed the way doctors, or at least some of them act. I always had great respect for doctors. Today, they act more like health brokers and the patient has become the client. Modern civilization ain't so progressive.Don't pass go, if you don't have your co-pay, even if you are so ill. Health care has become disease care. And Big Pharma loves every bit of it. And truth be known, how many doctors get something from the pharmaceutical companies, like free drugs, coffee, lunch, and opera tickets, tickets to the superbowl. Does anybody know that?

They canceled a procedure 2 hours before it was due to be performed! The preps for the procedure had already been done. Plus, I lost a day of work over this! The doctor seemed nice enough.... but I'm paying for his expertise and professionalism and I certainly didn't get it at this practice.

I went to him after many other doctors couldn't help me. Dr Katske was great - thorough and CORRECT ! I highly recommend him.

After diagnosing that I had a kidney stone he wouldn't treat me and instead referred me to another doctor. He said he would call on the following day of my visit with a treatment plan, but didn't. It took three phone calls from me over the next week, before I was told by one of his staff that I should go see this other doctor, they gave me his name and then gave me an incorrect phone number for him. It turns out that this other Doctor is in Beverly Hills, like I am going to travel that distance when there are several other Urologists in the SCV.He loves to give CT scans to almost anyone that he sees. I could tell because some of the same people I saw waiting in the waiting room with me ended up at the same imaging center with me later on. Its ok I guess if you have insurance that will cover the expense, but I don't.
