Dr. Francene Rose Martin, MD

Went to this dr for a second opinion as I had 3 Previous generations of Crohns. She told me to do a food diary and refused to do a colonoscopy. in a few weeks I was in the hospital finally diagnosed and all my biopsies all 6 of them came back for Crohns.

Dr. Martin is OK, but her staff is rude and condescending (like all Intercoastal employees). They do not honor appointments. I left my job early an hour away but they cancelled the appointment without telling me. Despite admitting she called the wrong number, she was still condescending, even though she could barely speak English. You will see pretty quickly, they don't care about you and have ZERO RESPECT for your time. I have been waiting for months for a colonoscopy that my 3 other doctors say is urgent but they keep cancelling. Intercoastal is a mill. They treat you like objects, at best farm animals. I would go to a smaller place where the people treat you like a person.

Totally makes you engaged in staying colon healthy! Compassionate, competent, and have no problem with giving her an excellent.

Had my colonoscopy and was in recovery, still under anesthesia when Dr. Martin came out to tell me results. I don't remember a thing. Luckily my husband was there, but really...I would think the doctor would wait until the patient was alert and able to ask questions. Called the receptionist for an appointment a year later and was treated rudely. Dr. Martin may be competent but I won't be going back to her.

I was extremely ill and had been misdiagnosed by another doctor and told "just live with it". Dr Martin was very compassionate and knowlegeable. She performed definitive tests and arrived at the correct diagnosis and treatment. She is truly an angel who cares about her patients and loves to practice her profession with the highest degree of knowlege and empathy. She is one in a million.

Dr. Martin was referred to me for a colonoscopy, and I am more than pleased with her work. I am a squeamish person, particularly with this procedure, but Dr. Martin was very patient, understanding and professional. She was thorough in her explanation before and after the surgery. My family doctor, as well as others in the healthcare profession, hold her high regard...I can see why.

Dr. Francene Martin is not only highlyprofessional and knowledgable in herfield, but she is one of the most caringdoctors that my husband and I have encountered.

Returned my call and squeezed me in for an appointment same day!Arranged a CT scan in 2 days and personally called me up with the results in 24 hours.Discussed findings, follow-up, and gave instructions to me to specifically which changes to watch for. Arranged for a surgeon toBe informed of my specifics and told me to call her office any time 24/7 with any changes Could not have asked for more attention to detail as well as follow upfor any contingencies.Very impressive group practice !

My husband and I recently have needed Dr. Martin's care and felt she did a very nice job for us.
