Both my wife and I started seeing Dr. Unson three years ago. He is totally professional, very knowledgeable, and answers all of your questions. His office and staff are very professional and do everything possible to get you in on short notice. Wish all of our physicians have his attitude.

I wish I can have zero star review on Dr. Francis Unson. This doctor is the greediest, unethical and disgraceful person I have ever seen in my life. I had three episodes of severer sciatica recently, and I was desperately looking for a pain management doctor. I picked Dr. Unson because he had the earliest appointment. However, Dr. Unson billed me $564 for the first visit, instead of $300 both of us agreed before the visit. Furthermore, Dr. Unson billed me $2000 for the unnecessary EMG (Electromyography) test (about 15 minutes in his clinic) which he did not tell me the cost before the test. If I knew it cost $2000 before the test, I would not have it at all since on the previous day, I already had a clear diagnosis based on the lumbar spine MRI which cost only $1232. Dr. Unson’s office reminded me a few times that I needed a pre-approval from my insurance company for the expensive MRI test. However, they chose not to remind me to get a pre-approval for an even more expensive EMP… test. As matter of fact, many online sources clearly indicate that the cost of EMG test should be around $400. After many rounds of argument, Dr. Unson refused my reasonable offer and asked for the collection company. As a patient suffered great pain physically and mentally, I feel I got punished, instead of treated by a doctor, and this doctor is taking advantage of the system trying to rob me.
