Dr. Frank Ervine Michener, MD

I like the Doctor, very personable and concerned. Listened to my concerns and thats hard to find. However, the reason they only received 3 stars was because of the receptionist, not sure if she's the office manager but very rude over the phone and in person. She has made me so turned off to this office. Too bad I will be going back to see the doctor and will have to deal with her.

I would highly recommend Dr. Michener to any prospective patient needing his medical services -- he has been truly exceptional and outstanding in terms of the excellent and very helpful treatment plans and professional medical advice that he has provided. Dr. Michener has a very caring, compassionate, and professional bedside manner as a medical provider, and his guidance and treatments have been invaluable in helping me improve my medical condition and outlook, especially where other similar doctors I have seen have really let me down in the past. I gave a 5-star recommendation across-the-board for all the available categories, since he is definitely one of the best of the very best in his field, in my humble opinion and experience with him as my doctor.

I highly recommend him.These negative people probably find something wrong with everybody None of their accusations is true.I don't know what I would do if I couldn't see Dr.Michener.I am 58 years and have seen several psychiatrists since I was 20.Dr.Michener is the most caring doctor I have seen God bless him.

Dr. Michener treated my children and me for ADD many years. He is an excellent doctor with a warm, caring manner. I never had a problem getting call backs. I never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to see him. I would recommend him highly to anyone seeking expert advice on ADD , specifically and other related conditions as well.

I am surprised to see a few of the comments (although multiple negatives appear to be written by the same client). We have been utilizing Dr. Michener for a couple years. He has shown great care for our child and for the affects on our family. He has taken time to call us back in emergencies to help sort out the care needed. When we have appointments, we do book ahead as things can get hectic there. I also do not show up too early in case he is running a bit late (it is a medical practice that deals with emergencies folks). We are very happy with his services.

He doesn't keep all appts, he doesn't return calls, office wait times are way too long, he seems neglectful during appts, appts that are kept are cut short, office staff is RUDE(!!!), be careful not to "give them lip" or they might hang up on you repeatedly, put you on hold for excessive amounts of time, or cancel your appts without telling you. Getting med refills is a pain in the neck, and it takes way too long. I have threatened many times to find a new provider, and still, no improvement in care, etc. Even 'emergency' calls are not returned promptly. Totally unacceptable care, just based on these notes. Save yourself the headache and find a different provider.

I have never had an issue getting an appointment. I have a 45min appointment every month and I make the next appointment before I leave. Both ladies that work there have always been professional and very caring to me and others while I was there. Dr. Michener has been caring from the first appointment till now and I have been a patient for almost two years. I always get the prescriptions I need during my appointments however if either one of us forgets which has only happened twice it is a little difficult getting one over the phone. I have never been rushed out early in an appointment. I have only waited maybe 5mins after my appointment time and even then that has only happened a couple times. So as you can understand by my ratings and comments I am very confused by the other ratings and comments.

DR. M doesn't return phone calls, doesn't check up on patients, he is not punctual with phone appts, he cuts appts short, and it is extremely difficult to get refills. The staff is unprofessional and rude. They are very short with patients on the phone. They place patients on hold before even saying hello. I could go on with the complaints about this office. Why bother continuing with this office? I plan to find a new doctor.

Have a very difficult time making appointments. I've been a loyal patient for five years and often get told they can't work me in. In the past three months I've had one appointment, and two have been cancelled by the doctor. I was told that he needed to see me within two weeks, when I talked to the receptionist she said that was impossible and laughed at me. I ended up making a fifteen minute appointment for six weeks later. He started out very caring, bit lately I feel like he doesn't have time for me and tends to hurry me out thr door. Not very comfortable when I've been going through a rough time with my medication lately.
