Dr. Fred William Lindsay, DO

Complete lack of competent communication and compassion. He and surgery coordinator, Rose, are too busy and should not accept new patients if not able to keep up with communication. Blame others like the hospital and refuse to take responsibility or even apologize without prompting. Left feeling like just a number and a dollar sign without an ounce of concern about my health. A genuine apology and kindness could have gone a long way but did me a favor in the long run. Beware you may not be a priority for this physician as he has so many other obligations and staff is too busy to return calls or even send a message through their Klara portal but you are supposed to jump as soon as he has someone call to tell you to arrive earlier than initially instructed for surgery on the day of.

My personal choice would be 0 stars. A surgery was performed that resulted in esophageal perforation. His staff was notified on a Friday I was not doing well from the surgery. I never received a phone call. The office closed and they all went home to enjoy the weekend. Saturday morning the ER confirmed the injury. Spending 14 or more days in ICU ,, 4 days on a ventilator and fighting sepsis with Esophageal Perforation speaks volumes on the service I received. My life has changed forever and not in a good way. Dr Lindsay is a great guy and treats the patient, addresses long term and short term needs. Takes the time to listen to your concerns. I do wish the nursing staff was as skilled and supportive as he though. Getting responses from the nursing phone line is very difficult, or trying to reach a doctor on call.

Dr. Lindsay was extremely helpful in the treatment of my allergies. I was able to call and get an appointment scheduled for the next day, which was great because I was really feeling the allergies! His awesome office staff helped me through the paperwork and were very kind while getting me ready to see the doctor. Once Dr. Lindsay came in he was extremely professional, and goofy, while talking to me about my allergy symptoms. He is truly a great doctor, and it was a pleasure going to his office. I would recommend him to anybody that has allergy problems!

Awesome Doc!

During my tonsillectomy post op appt, Dr. Lindsay was very dismissive of my concerns. He only answered my questions stating, "you just had surgery, you're going to have pain". My question was never about the pain, but the feeling of something being lodged in my throat, which appeared the week following my surgery. He cut me off several times as I tried to be clear about my issues, even saying "OK, BYE" loudly as he walked out of the office. His behavior during this visit was extremely rude.

Dr Lindsay is the most wonderful doctor I have ever met. He was prompt, direct, professional and exactly correct on everything he said or did. I have recommended him to everyone I know who needed an ENT. Go see him today!!!
