Dr. Shessel was able to make a diagnosis another urologist had missed, by listening to my history, and ordering appropriate tests.

As a retired physician, I have special insight into my colleagues care even if in a different specialty and I was so positively impressed with Dr. Shessel that I am giving him the maximum rating of 5 stars.

I am pleased with the care and future recommendations that I am receiving from Dr. Shessel, he is very knowledgeable in his profession.

Dr. Shessel is an amazing physician on so many levels. He is patient and answers any questions or concerns you have. He is kind and compassionate. Just by talking to him you know he knows his stuff. I like that Dr. Shessel has awesome bedside manner and you feel like a person and not just another patient each and every visit. I love his staff as well! Thank you for helping me for YEARS with my IC!

Having passed my first kidney stone, my GP Dr Marie Garrity helped get into to see Dr Shessel in a 30 minute window for follow up Urologist exam.

I saw Dr. Shessel after 3 other physicians (not in his practice) insisted I simply had a stubborn infection. Dr. Shessel was the only one who actually listened to me, analyzed ALL my symptoms and ordered further testing (late on a Friday afternoon) to make an accurate diagnosis. The result: not an infection at all. Multiple blood clots in my lungs, which can be fatal. Dr. Shessel paid attention, thought critically, acted quickly and likely re-routed my outcome, for which i'll always be grateful.

Great doctor, how lucky was i to find Dr. Shessel, Very Lucky! Every now and then you run across a doctor who loves his profession and it shows in his every action. Well, your lucky because you have just found a great Doc.

This whole group seems to lack appreciation for the fact that their patients chose them. Of the three doctors I dealt with in this group, Dr. Shessel was by far the best however, I don't believe I would see him again due to his reluctance to spend time with and get to know his patients.

I have been Dr. Shessel's patient since 2002 and find him knowledgeable, good communicator and current on latest methodologies and tests. Takes time to answer my questions and address my concerns. The office in Alpharetta is A1 as is the support personnel.
