I brought my 8-year-old to Dr. Chassagne after 6 weeks of daily headaches, vertigo, and nausea with confirmed Hashimoto's and TPO antibodies over 900. Her treatment plan was supplements. She refused to conference with the endocrinologist in the same building, dismissed Hashimoto's Encephalopathy without explanation, and proposed waiting until September with no plan. The appointment ended when she hung up the video call while I was still speaking. Since then, another provider found a positive ANA, elevated inflammation markers, critically low ferritin, and insufficient Vitamin D through a basic panel. My daughter likely has Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis alongside her Hashimoto's. None of this was looked for. Note: Dr. Chassagne is an epilepsy specialist, not a headache or autoimmune neurologist. Met Dr Chassagne for the first time today. She was warm and professional. She spent over an hour and a half with us answering questions. My daughter's condition is serious yet she placed us at ease and reinforced our concerns. I am a health professional working with different colleagues and Dr Chassagne is a breath of fresh air to her profession . I can't say enough good things about her. I am fortunate to have her caring for my child.

Dr chassagne is very condescending when she talks to me about my son. I think she could stand to learn about empathy and compassion and how to talk to patients and their parents.
