Dr. Garfield Hue Samuels, MD

Not only he is absolutely incompetent, he is also arrogant, rude, with huge Ego. He insulted, attacked a new patient, offered absolutely no value, and caused severe emotional distress. Then sent a bill.

I have been going to Dr. Samuels for over 10 years and I must say he is one of the best Doctor in the 757's. He and his staff is always eager to help in anyways possible. With or without and appointment they will make sure that your health needs are met. Dr. Samuels and his friendly and professional staff needs to train some off these other doctors and their staff on how to treat their patients. I will never go anywhere else. I am very satisfied with the way Dr. Samuels and his staff address my medical concerns and the urgency in which they deal with my concerns.

After getting to the pharmacy and finding that the prescription had been written for half the usual that I’d been taking for years, I called the doctor’s front office, thinking it was an error. They said they were told that, if I called, to tell me that the previous quantity had been an error. This is hard to understand considering I’d been getting it from this office this way for years.. But more importantly, you don’t think you have time to mention you’re intentionally changing someone’s prescription?? After spending a mere two minutes on a quick stethoscope check, to not say something and knowingly setting up an unpleasant surprise for a patient is incredibly disrespectful and cowardly. He gets however get 1 star for the great medical advice he gave me as he rushed off: “make sure you drink water to stay hydrated”. After 34 years of living on this Earth, I’m so grateful someone finally helped me to understand how drinking water works!

I went here for 4 months (4 visits and more phone calls) and the staff/doctor never followed up on appointments, correctly filling out forms, etc. I went in yesterday on a scheduled appt. and waited 90 minutes before getting up and leaving for what was essentially a visit for them to correct something they didn't do correctly. The staff and doctor are friendly enough but not helpful AT ALL. Go somewhere else.

Dr. Samuels is a fantastic Dr. He listens, he is kind and understanding. I've been with him for 2 years and can't imagine seeing anyone else. Sincerely, Stacy Giles

He was a good doctor, but then he gave my medical records to someone who pretended to be my spouse and my sibling. I am not married and do not have my sister. Giving my medical records to nosey people who refuse to ask me about my health is definitely not acceptable. Doing things without my consent and knowledge is not acceptable. I hope you changes.

Dr. Samuel has no understanding or sympathy for extreme chronic pain patients. He continues to cut, cut, and cut your medication and does not care about the effect on your body. As of yet my pain disease has no cure. What am I supposed to do with no pain medication since medical science still has no cure for my disease?

I was a patient of his co worker, Dr. Knight and Dr. Knight suddenly retired without telling may of his patients. I was one of many. So I got handed off to his partner, Dr. Samuels. I have terrible insomnia and I've been taking Ambien for almost 20 years and none of my past doctors ever complained about it until Dr. Samuels came along. He only gives me 15 days worth at a low dose and ever since it has been interfering with my job and my performance. Ever since he took over Dr Knights patients, I being one of them, he has changed around my treatment plan and as a result, he's turned my life upside down. I don't recommend this physician to anyone.

The WORST doctor I've ever been to..... He has the worst bedside manners, he is extremely rude. ... and he does'nt spend anytime with you.... he asks like you are takimg up to much of his like.... And he asks as if he HATES woman.... I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to him!!!!!!!
