When you need surgery on your back, you want a surgeon who is meticulous, extremely skilled, highly intelligent and compassionate. Dr. Bloomgarden is all of these and more. Before surgery, he described the procedure thoroughly and answered all my questions and concerns. When he explained, post surgery, the steps he had taken to repair my L3-L5, I was even more impressed by the enormous skill of this surgeon. Now, as I am healing, I realize Dr. Bloomgarden took no shortcuts and made sure my back was repaired with the utmost care. I would not hesitate a second to offer my highest recommendation of Dr. Gary Bloomgarden.

One of the worst Doctor so far i ve met. Very unprofessional, no respect for time.We went for my mother in laws treatment.Ridiculous! Every time we went He comes ehn ever he feels like to.If I can gve 0 star!

I was in terrible pain from a herniated L5-S1 pressing on the sciatic nerve. My daily activities were limited to crawling from my bed to the couch. Dr Bloomgarden's office acted quickly to get me in to see him on a Saturday. In the appointment Dr B spent a lot of time with me and thoroughly explained everything from why discs herniated to recovery after surgery. His excellent bedside manner and accompanying sense of humor help to make an unpleasant procedure much less so. Dr B came highly recommended and he more than lived up to the recommendation.
