Dr. Gary Lynn Rasmussen, MD

Dr. Rasmussen is great! I had a full knee replacement 6 months ago and the recovery is moving along well. For the pre-surgery consultation and all the follow-ups, he is very patient and answered all my questions in easy to understand language, and I never felt rushed. His surgery methods are top notch (like making the incision on the side of the knee instead of on top so he doesn’t cut the muscle - makes for a better, faster recovery). I would highly recommend Dr Rasmussen.

Dr. Rasmussen and his staff gave me back my mobility, which essentially means my life. In the last year he has replaced my hip and my knee. He is attentive and caring. He spends all the time you need, explaining your options and procedures. Never pushes you to choose a particular course of action or modality. Gives you all of your options and his best advice. He made me feel like I was his only patient. The staff is incredible! Never have to wait for office visits more than a few minutes. And, unlike most doctors, didn’t spend much time in the exam room before being seen. Definitely unusual for any doctors office. One of the only doctors that I saw prior to deciding on who I wanted to perform my surgeries that was up-to-date with the very latest techniques, and used the most up-to-date prosthetics. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Rasmussen. You can’t go wrong with this man. Quite literally a miracle worker. I feel like a different person after my surgeries. Hardly have a… scar and recovered much faster than I thought I would.

Great office! Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Rasmussen took plenty of time, answered all my questions, and I didn’t feel rushed. I feel very confident going forward with my surgery here.

Dr Rasmussen has replaced both of my knees and a hip. I just scheduled to have my remaining hip done - this time before I lose my mobility. Dr Rasmussen listens carefully, explains things clearly, and puts no pressure on the patient to commit to surgery or any other course of action. His staff is efficient and professional. I highly recommend him to anyone with knee or hip issues.

My visits from the very first with the orthopedic specialty clinic and especially with Dr. Gary Rasmussen has been nothing but stellar their staff and assistance and doctors are amazing I would highly recommend them to everyone in need of their specialty & services.
