Dr. Gary Royce Wisner, MD

very thorough

This orthopedic surgeon's office is well organized. I've never had to wait more than 25 minutes. He has free wifi and a TV to make your short wait enjoyable. Now for Dr. Wisner as being an orthopedic Dr, ai can't say enough good things about him. He's a pleasure to talk to, down to earth person, and very knowledgeable in what he does. He can explain everything in detail if you ask him and want to listen. I have had several issues with my knees and he has diagnosed what surgeries I need by getting x-rays and demanding MRI's of both knees (he had to fight with insurance companies to do so). But an MRI's will show much more than an x-ray will, so they ARE NECESSARY in most cases to show soft tissue damage. I totally trust Dr. Wisner.

I have been seeing Dr. Wisner for a few years know. I would recommend him highly. He is a great surgeon and very knowledge in his profession. I had seen multiple doctors before Dr. Wisner and all told me the could not help me. I was unable to move my right arm and had no strength in my hands. Once I started seeing Dr. Wisner he new right away what needed to be done. He first did a shoulder cuff repair and freed my arm. Then he did bilateral Carpal Tunnel release on both my hands. Hi then puts you right into Physical Therapy with in days of surgery. My arm is full functioning know and my hand strength has doubled and I can left and hold onto things again. Life is better for me today because of this man. Dr. Wisner. He fights for his patients rights for medical treatment.

Been a patient of Dr. Wisner for over 8 years. Before sseeing wisner I had seen other Doctors who only prescribed painkillers instead of treating the problem. Dr. Wisner found the the problem and treated it. His staff and Wisner listen to you and work with you to find how to better treat you.

HE TAKES A BUNCH OF X-rays AND DOES NOT LOOK AT THEM. HE DID SURGERY ON ME AND A YEAR LATER TELLS ME I HAVE POSSIBLE BROKEN THE BONE. I ASKED HIM WHY HE DID NOT SEE IT AND HE SAID IT TAKES MANY ANGLES. HE COMPLETELY LIED AND HIS STAFF SAT THERE LISTENING TO HIS MADE UP CRAP. YOU COULD SEE THE B S IN THEIR FACES. HE NEVER CHECKS OR TOUCHES THE INJURY OR ACCESSES IT. ALL HE DOES IT TALK AND NEVER NEVER LETS PATIENTS SPEAK. HE IS LOOKING FOR CANCER AND THATS EXACTLY IT $$$$$$$$$

I made appt for back pain that has been becoming worse. I previously read reviews and was skeptical. It was nothing like what i read. There was a slight wait due to paper work however it went quickly from there. He was very thourough and explained X-rays and what course we we're going to take. I highly recommend him

I have had three knee arthroscopies from Dr. Wisner. Each time the same routine- spend 4-6 hours waiting to see the Dr. (that is with an appointment by the way), having X-rays covering your entire body (ankles, elbows, back, shoulders, back of your throat) then seeing the Dr. for about 5-10 minutes, then having an appointment in 3 weeks to repeat the above. Once you actually have a surgery, he seemed to do a good job. I finally went to see another Orthopedic Surgeon when Wisner told me he wanted to do another knee arthroscopy, this after his Xrays showed that I was bone on bone in my knee. Unless you have the time and an extreme amount of patience, look elsewhere for an Orthopedic Surgeon.

the wait time is horrible and to do xrays every time thats not happining to me i know that to much xrays are bad for u. he needs to work on his wait times and bedside manner. They don't want you to eat and drink in the office then y keep ppl there for 4 -7 hours a time. if I don't eat I get sick so I had my lunch right in the office and they will give u a cup but u have to drink water from the bathroom where EVERY one goes no thank you

My dr referee me to this dr for back pain.. I had heard stories about him and the wait... I thought it moved rather quickly and the office staff was great... when he came in he shook my hand which most dr's don't do... he was very to the point and on point with my symptoms

I am an avid runner and have started having pain in my knee. Someone recommended this dr to me and figured I see him.. had xrays and he noticed that my knee was off.. I guess my knee cap slips and I probably have a tear. He is doing MRI and therapy so we will see what happens. He seemed very knowledgeable.
