Two weeks ago I underwent open heart surgery performed by Dr. Velamoor and his staff at the Virginia Mason Hospital. I was released after 6 days. I have two older brothers who've undergone similar surgery. We have compared notes, and also talked with family members who are medical professionals. (Surgical team nurse, and Physical Therapist Phd., who works in cardiac care unit. If there was a rating higher than Excellent Dr. Velamoor and his team would get it.
