Saw DrChaio for a colonoscopy. He made the whole process easier. And what a great staff.

I had a second procedure with Dr Chiao today. As expected he was so professional and knowledgeable. Concerned about what I needed and provided excellent care

Dr. Ciao is and excellent doctor. He very thorough and professional in every way. I was seriously impressed with him. Impressed that he went over extensively my last colonoscopy report from another doctor. He even went over more than that last doctor discussed with and he explained everything very well. The colonoscopy/EGD went very smooth with him and even smoother and more comfortable than the last 2 I have had with other GI doctors. Then not only do I get a personal phone call from Dr. Ciao the evening of my colonoscopy to check on me and see how I am doing, but I get another call 2 days later from him, (yes him and not his nurse) to go over the pathology report with him. He is generous with sharing information and his time explaining things. I was seriously impressed with him and have already recommended him to several people.

I thought so highly of Dr. Chiao and his staff that i recommended him to 3 other people. He is very thorough, spent as much time as needed to answer each and every question that i had, called me on a Sunday night to discuss results and he is humble. I honestly felt like i was his only patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Chaio! I will be back to see him in 5 years..

Dr. Chiao diagnosed me with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and after a $4000+ endoscopic procedure and biopsy, specified that I had "Anxious Stomach" and should work with my primary physician to adjust anxiety medication. My primary doctor and I came up with a plan to prescribe a course of antibiotics/anti parasitic, with a follow up course of probiotics to rule out any gastrointestinal infection. This treatment has made my symptoms disappear and I am pain free and able to eat all foods without discomfort. I feel like Dr. Chiao was dismissive of my questions, didn't try to find a root cause and shrugged his shoulders after finding an inconclusive result. I would expect a doctor with his amount of experience would be able to find a more effective treatment than the one I came up with myself in 5 minutes. I will be keeping my primary care doctor but will no longer use Dr. Chiao.
