Kolmac has been an extremely helpful and important part of my recovery since the beginning (21 months ago). I liked the counselors and the people in my group a lot.

During my time at Kolmac I enjoyed the skill and empathy of the therapists, inspirational guests speakers, informative 3rd hours, and my interaction with other patients.

I consistently felt supported and educated by everyone here, from the admin staff to the doctors to the counselors. I seriously owe my recovery and my life to Kolmac

A poor doctor who cares little about his patients

I met Dr. Kolodner while receiving treatment for opiate addiction at the Kolmac Clinic. He as well as the rest of the staff at Kolmac were instrumental in my recovery. I can't say enough about the help I received there.

I attended Kolmac as a patient for 6 1/2 months before being involuntarily discharged by the staff. Even after sending Dr Kolodner a letter of complaint and after the Office of Health Care Quality, the licensing board for Kolmac, issued them a "deficiency report" against them, neither he nor the staff responsible would offer even a simple apology for the insensitive and unethical way I was treated. Kolmac and Dr Kolodner are a poor choice for help.
