man of few words, but made sure every step of surgery was provided in great detail. great hands wouldn't go else where!

I have a friend whom is a nurse when I told her My father was going in for second back surgery, she said so many of her in-care patience had went to him and were worse off then if they did nothing for their backs. I also know a very good Physical Therapist whom had said 85% of his patience that went to this guy came into him in so much more pain than before. My dad swears this guy is the greatest Nuero/ back surgeon he could ask for. Well……. two back surgeries later and my stubborn father is in more pain than I have ever seen him in. I mean when you have only seen your father cry three times in your life and never because of pain...that doctor is crap! Please don't go to him! I can take his terrible bed side manner no problem! But all of you patience that like him give yourself a few years and you'll most likely be seeing some serious issues going on in your back if you went to him for any other reason, I don't know but he did two terrible back surgeries on my father.

Please remember surgeons aren't going to have the best interactions with people especially when he say he can't help! But I wanted great surgery not a talk! He was straight to business. Surgery was delayed but his team made sure I was comfortable. Surgery results were better than expected.

He seams a good doctor just not sure i want to take that road

This doctor had very poor bedside manners but saved my life. I was warned at the hospital about his personality so was not surprised but was also told he had the best hands and experience. I finally decided after seeing a few other opinions and "personalities" that I wasn't looking for a friend. I had brain surgery and was home in 48 hrs when the normal is 4 days in icu and 4 in regular care. No regrets. Saved my life and gave me the use of my legs again.

Does not care about making the correct diagnosis, he will do surgery and if you are fixed, great, if not, he still gets paid. Have had several surgeries by him and finally found a new surgeon who did what he could not do. Actually solve my back problem.

Honestly, there is nobody else I would rather trust to do surgery on me. nobody works harder. I would send my family to him without hesitation. I have worked in a hospital caring for his patients for 5 years and can say that his outcomes are by far the best. You will wait in the office to see him...bring a book and be ready for that.

Forgot to bring my radiologist report. Gerald cant read MRI's. Lied and told me my head is fine. He got the radiologist report then ordered a mri with contrast and made an appointment a month later. If you value your life dont see him. Hopefully I dont die in the mean time trying to find another neuroqwack
