Dr. Gerardo Carlos Perez, DO

It takes an act of Congress for Lisa to answer the phone. Much less return a call. Making an appointment is extremely difficult. After many years -over 20- with Dr. Perez it just simply isn't worth the hassle. A shame because Dr. Perez has always been there for me.

I have been Dr. Perez patient for over 10 years. Ever since he moved to this location his staff and his attitude has changed. I only see him once a year but its enough to be frustrated by the way I am treated. For years I have wanted to change Dr. and I FINALLY did. I called his office to make an appointment and was immediately placed on hold for over 10min. This is a common practice by his staff. I've been at his office and seen it first hand. The staff can make or break your office.

This doctor not only knows his stuff, but offers very practical solutions to the problems we mostly create. He has been my doctor for a number of years and I would highly recommend him. He's not a pill pusher and expects us to take care of ourselves! So what if the phone rings a little longer. He's worth the wait.

His office is shared with University Heath Care which screens his calls to his receptionist. His receptionist is RUDE and has yet to call me back. Trying to make an appointment is almost impossible. It's a shame because he had been my primary for so many years.

An excellent Dr with so many qualities, such as he deals his pts with compassion, kind, patence, good listening skills and caring.

This doctor is superficial acts like he cares seems genuine but really only placates you. His concern end the minute you step out of his office then he prepares to be concerned for the next paying patient.

Even after the move of office his staff always seems put out and frustrated to have to deal with patients. When calling to make an appt the phone will ring over 10 times before anyone answers. This is unfortunate because he is a wonderful Dr who does spend the time necessary to talk to his patients.

He seems forgetful from one appt to the next..took two weeks to get test results from his office, after many calls and promises. They don't seem to have much follow-through. Long waits for rushed time with doctor.
