Dr. Gino Chiappetta, MD

After suffering for over 3 months with severe back and sciatica pain Dr C assured me that surgery could repair. His staff was excellent walked out same day and pain free and back to work in less than a week. Truely a remarkable surgeon

I am so very grateful to Dr. Chiappetta who recently treated me for a herniated spinal cervical disc. He attempted various treatments but ultimately decided to operate on my spine to repair the damage. Prior to surgery my left arm was weak, numb and in pain. My entire neck and shoulder was also in intense sharp pain. I am happy to report that since my surgery I am pain free and completely restored. Dr. Chiappetta has restored my life!

I was unable to find a way to edit my previous commentary here__, but I wish to add that although initially surgery felt good, Dr C did not see me again for the remainder of my time in hospital during which I developed a systemic infection, was unresponsive to post-op incision infection and unresponsive to ongoing post-op pain and limp, did not offer explanation just scripts for more p/t and pain mgmt. That's been disillusioning. {I recently met a medical student familiar with Dr. C who said I'm not alone in this.} Therefore, I advise caution, and ask what post-op care you can expect before deciding.

My review is on Dr. Chiappetta only, not on UOA. He listened to my symptoms and concerns, diagnosed me quickly (with recent MRI taken two months earlier by other dr elsewhere) and performed necessary Fusion and Laminectomies. (I had been to several doctors previously to no avaiI.) *I credit Dr. C with saving me from a wheelchair. **I would recommend him.

Staff nasty including office manager which has no personality. Trying to make appt. is horrible. Doctor is very courteous,. Overall stay far from office and staff.

I received amazing care from Dr. Chiappetta and his team. The procedure was explained with detail and my questions were answered. His office staff returned phone calls in a timely manner and put my mind at ease.

I saw Dr. Chiappetta after being dissatisfied with a doctor in a completely different practice. I cannot tell you how blown away I am at the professionalism and courtesy of Dr. Chiappetta and his staff. His staff is extremely pleasant, friendly and very professional. When I was waiting longer than normal in the exam room, the assistant came in to apologize that he got held up with another patient and that he'd be with me soon (I don't think I have EVER experienced that kind of courtesy from a doctor's office EVER). The doctor himself was warm, engaged, kind and a good listener and communicator. At the conclusion of our visit, he concluded I needed an MRI; something the previous ortho I had seen didn't think was necessary even tho my x-rays couldn't indicate what the source of my pain was.I told the doctor's assistant after the visit how pleased I was at how well they treat people and she assured me that they understand why they are there -- to help people (happy staff usually means… they're treated well, and when they're treated well, they'll treat you well). My experience ELSEWHERE had been littered with rude, impatient and uncaring staff who seem to think that patients are just an inconvenience.I'm very thankful to have found Dr. Chiappetta. I feel listened to and taken seriously and that I will receive the best care and treatment.

I saw gino a couple of months ago,he went over my condition,and he told me what the next step is,he is a honest person, a great doctor would reffer him to anyone,one of the best doctors that i seen and i've been to a couple of them
