Dr. Glenn Roy Parris, MD

I've been going here a little over a year and I have only seen him twice. I have been left speaking with his physician assistant(idk if thats the correct title), Young every single time. Sure, Young is knowledgeable and all but I'm here for a doctor's opinion on my health. Sometimes I will hear his voice through the walls talking to other patients but never a "Hello, any questions for me?" which is just very disrespectful and shows a lack of care. Also, to add fuel to the fire, they always forget to refill my methotrexate and when I call the nurses office they are completely clueless and always pull the "I'll call you back" and don't. So here goes my painful RA symptoms returning and I'm just waiting for my next appt to finally talk to Mrs.Young to get that refill. I tell her about the situation. I'm not angry just a little annoyed but overall understanding because mistakes happen. I ask her who to contact in the future if this happens. She says I can email her but I can't say anything… about the situation or give her any personal information. I'm just thinking to myself, "Wait, what?". Also, she said I can call the pharmacist or something like that I don't even remember but it just seemed like a huge unnecessary process for something that should be simple. My last straw was them not filling our my prior authorization I needed for my Humira medication. Normally, they are supposed to have people who are on top of this. My temperament is pretty easy going I'm not someone who gets angry whenever something doesn't go my way but it just seems like poor experiences are a consistency here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Parris for 11 years and he is an amazing doctor! However his office staff is amazingly awful! I would think that he would surround himself with people who treat his patients as well as he does. I have tried to support Dr. Parris because he is such a great doctor but I can't any longer. The level of ineptness of his staff is too much for me to handle. The search is on for a new rheumatologist!

I have been seeing Dr Parris for years now and he is a wonderful, caring doctor, but his office operations have gotten worse and worse over the years. It's almost impossible to get hold of a person on the phone, they don't return calls, they take forever to post lab results in the portal, all in all the office is so bad that I am seriously considering changing to another doctor. Patients with autoimmune issues do not need the added stress of dealing with incompetent and/or uncaring office staff!

Dr parris always spends time answering my questions, doesn't rush me is pleasant to talk to. Sme of hs office staff have been difficult to work with and slow.

I would like to say I have been dealing with joint pain for several year's. Over the years I have had MRI's and X-ray. But only mild damage has shown. I would like to really thank Dr. Parris as I do feel some relief. I will definitely continue to be a patient and in hopes of gaining a bit more of my life back. Thanks Dr. Parris.

He is great.

Some of the staff act like they don't want to be bothered. I was put on hold for at least 10 minutes for someone today. Please act like you care about your patients and their wellbeing.

I have Lupus and the care I receive from Dr. Parris is phenomenal. Unlike others he do not run in out of patientâ??s room in 10 minutes. Instead he spends a minimal of 30 minutes with his patients to ensure everything is discussed from the mental to the physical.

Love Dr. Parris. Spends plenty of time with his patients, so it is very hard to get hold of him.
