Dr. Gloria Singleton Gaston, MD

Dr. Gaston is, by far, the best doctor I've ever had. She is incredibly knowledgeable, yet I still always felt like I had agency in treatment options with her. She is patient, supportive, and considers all options. I've never had a doctor I trusted as much as Dr. Gaston before or since. Everyone on her staff was phenomenal as well. I owe my recovery to Dr. Gaston, and I will forever be thankful that she and her staff were such a blessing during a very difficult time in my life.

Dr. Gastons office is a bit dirty and outdated. Furniture and medical tables had stains, holes, etc. As for Dr. Gaston, at first I thought she was a good doctor. Asked lots of questions, seemed concerned. She then left the room abruptly, and I was waiting for her to return, only to find out that the appointment was over. I needed blood work done, which they do not do at the office. You have to go someplace else for it, and I was dismissed without any information on my disease, what to do, or without a follow up appointment. I was shocked!

I've been seeing Dr. Gaston for nearly 14 years. She is one of the most caring doctors that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She listens very well, and I never feel rushed. She respects me as not only a patient, but a human being. She is compassionate, and whenever, I have a problem, I can always get in to see her right away (often times the same day). She takes time to explain things to me in layman's terms, and often draws a picture to describe the problem. I'm glad she's my doctor, and I've made significant improvements. I've gone from being on disability to being able to work full-time. She is an execellent doctor.
