Dr. Grant A. De La Motte, MD

It was not a good experience. I was referred to him after a traumatic brain injury. He seemed distant and wasn’t listening to me as I had to repeat the reason why o was there. Follow up was even worse.

The Dr. was dismissive of my rare condition simply because it was rare. He suggested that I consider how much stress I have in my life and that my persistent physical symptoms that perfectly aligned with a rare diagnosis were probably just stress related. I am now a patient of a Dr. who specializes in my condition and have experienced great relief with treatment that is all based on physical procedures.

Dr. de la Monte diagnosed my health issue when no one else could. He has been my doctor for over 5 years and I find him knowledgeable, compassionate, and highly professional. He is not quick to prescribe an overabundance of medications, but he definitely knows his tuffs. He takes time to listen EVERY time I see him, often 30-45 minutes. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Did not read forms I filled out prior to appointment. Gave me no diagnosis, did not recommend any neurological tests for further inquiry. Attempted to prescribe me a medication that reacts badly with medication I am already prescribed without mentioning the interaction. Never going to see this doctor again.

Poor patient communication, poor diagnosis, poor follow-up. Do not schedule appointment with this MD.

VERY intelligent and compassionate. Down to earth. Meticulous in his testing and discussion with me about my condition. I have 100% confidence in his medical skills and knowledge and feel grateful to have a doctor so highly skilled and kind.
